hey @par0llel, i came across this channel a few days ago, and they have one speedpaint up that looks like awfully referenced from your stuff, the style, the character design, the colors, everything. I usually wouldn't say "they're copying your art style" because art style theft is not a thing, but I just felt the need to say this here because they seem to be copying your stuff on purpose, their channel name is Takouu, feel free to check that out for yourself if you'd like
Par0llel is not the first one to use thick lines and bright colors. Many do! Like squeedgemonster. They’ve been doing digital art forever and in fact, when I found this channel I thought the art was inspired from them. Not sure if it is, but artists can be inspired by others as long as it’s not a clear copycat. But I don’t think that style is a copycat style, since it doesn’t really look like par0llel’s style, and more takes influence from technique than anything. That and Par0llel’s art is very clearly much more advanced looking. I can see how you’d be concerned though.
@@briarbat I mean yeah I know, that's why I was wary of making this such a big deal, but I checked their Instagram page and they had a completely different style on November from last year, a few days apart though, their style changed completely to a parollel look alike yknow, so I'm slightly concerned, but as you said it might be simply inspiration
