Thanks for the tips! When you retrieve a ditch digger with a swimbait, are you bumping it along the bottom? The head looks like a football jig head. I know Casey Ashley won Hartwell with the same technique fishing ditches and saw how slow he fished it, but always wondered if he was just dragging his underspin on the bottom it was so slow. Yes on keeping it on the bottom. That's one of the most important factors we feel when ditch fishing. That's why the ditch digger is 1/2 oz. Reel just fast enough to keep contact.
