Being a UA-camr has got to be the weirdest, coolest, stressful thing. On the one hand your being told that your farm is not very minimal, but how dare you not shower your kids with gifts on Christmas morning?! Your kids don't look deprived to me. You guys are great. ❤️ Keep up the good work. The room looks great❤️ Thanks for reading, Carrie Spencer
Lol, this made me smile!: "On the one hand your being told that your farm is not very minimal, but how dare you not shower your kids with gifts on Christmas morning?!"

Actually, watching your realistic minimalist style makes me think I can actually do it. You still have things. You didnt go down to the bare minimum which kind of freaks me out
To me being a minimalist doesn’t mean living in lack, rather, it means to have the space and things you need to live fully and happily! Love the girls room 💜
“Minimalist” - “not minimalist”... these are just labels and they don’t define how “you do you”. I find you guys so inspirational and your kind words are helping us no end in sorting out our excess stuff that has filled our home and we’re so grateful for this channel.
Your girls' room looks so cozy and inviting ! Can't wait to see what you're planning for the office space ! I hope you are going to put in a kitchen/kitchenette of some sort. That would be so helpful for guests or even for you while working out there or doing homeschooling.
I've been watching you nonstop for about a month! You give me encouragement to even START in a room. I love your ideas and even though my house will never be like yours, someone just asked during Christmas if we got new wooden floors!! ❤️. Because of clearing three rooms, you can actually see my floors now!
I would have suggested doing the boy's room first, just because I don't think it would be as huge of a project. However, you have laid out a good reason to work on the office building/guest house. I look forward to seeing that project unfold! The girls' room is fantastic!
As far as donating hair. Wigs for Kids or Children with Hair Loss are both great places. I believe they accept as little as 8 inches. I am part at a cancer moms group and these are the two places recommended. I have heard some not so good things about Locks of Love... Glad your daughter is wanting to donate her hair! Ideally 10" is the best 💗💇♀️ So measure from the length (like from your shoulders) your keeping down. If you cut it wet make sure it's dry before you mail it so it doesn't get moldy 🤪 Your guys are the best!
I was able to donate hair to the Children with Hair Loss recently. It would be a great option for her. My 2 daughters had donated before so I was excited to donate and when I was researching I went with the one I metioned above instead of Locks of Love.
"No" to locks for love . I've sent hair to children with hair loss and I think wigs for kids is good . I'm a hairdresser . I think 8 inches is probably enough. Love your channel .
I wish I could find the photo. Our friend's husband used metal strapping to attach their TV remote to the arm of their couch after their kids lost it for the 100th time. Metal strapping! Screws right into the arm of the couch. Face palm.
My boys took it upon themselves to TAPE theirs to the wall!! 😂 I haven't done anything. I left it like that 🤣 But I do notice them every night I tuck them in! 😝 The command velcro is a great idea
You are people who put family first ! Giving your children time with Tom’s family is a gift that is maximum!!! I would never expect any explanation for that !! So excited to see you welcome family and share time ❤️
I’d say boys room too so they don’t feel left out but also bc there’s 7 inches of snow outside. But since toms already working outside, I guess that doesn’t phase him haha
You are minimalists because you've decided what you want out of clearing the clutter. You've recognized this as a necessity, as opposed to drowning in clutter, getting even more overwhelmed, and causing bigger problems. You're showing us how to WIN at minimalism! I've cleared 80% of my stuff by asking can I live without it. I didn't need all that stuff "just in case" or from another lifetime. And your video clearing out the hall closet where you just had a giveaway box and throwaway box and everything you pulled out of the closet that needed to be put away got put away right then and there SAVED me! Like if we aren't putting stuff away and just making stacks, it's still putting off decisions of where that stuff is gonna go and we can't just stop mid-project without having a mess..which frees us to begin anytime. Thank you so much.
My definition of a minimalist is not living in excess. And that is what you are doing. You guys are awesome and don’t forget that God loves you very much. Stay safe always. Love from Miami
I don’t think you should worry about what we think. We are admiring your life. You do you! I love that your family can come and stay with you. You never know what life will be like. To have the extra space for family is more important than anything else. It is our greatest blessing
The girls room looks beautiful, I think when it’s to cold to work on the office you you start the boys room then the actual house will be finished unless you guys have other plans for the house. It’s great when you look back at how much you have achieved this past year more than it would take years for other families to do. You are a great team you both deserve a big Pat on the back xxx
I tell my hubby- “I didn’t marry you for your hair” Farms are hard to minimize since there is so many buildings you can stick stuff! We’ve been taking stuff to the dump for 20 years on our farm and it’s much better than it was but still easy to leave stuff because you might use it!
Farm families are famous for “getting creative “ with stuff that’s been hanging around! However, I’ve personally seen a lot of stuff kept for “just in case” be ruined by water damage, mouse damage, rust, mold, oh and that accidental fire that ended up turning a whole barn and its stuff to ashes. Yep, it’s looking like your trips to the dump are a wise move.
I love the girls' room! Super beautiful and well thought out. Also, you guys are amazing and have helped so many on our "minimalism" journeys... Seriously, my home/family is completely changed because of you, and I am so grateful. Best minimalism/simplifying content on UA-cam that I have ever found, hands down, and you present it in such a humble and loving way. Looking forward to seeing the office building/guest house. THIS is why you are minimalists!--so that you have the capacity to host family when they visit, and can both work from home, homeschool your kids, and keep your sanity thru it all. If anyone has a "problem" with the guest house/office, then they don't understand your heart in all of this, in my opinion. ❤️ Much love to you guys. You rock. May God continue to bless your family, as you are such a blessing to so many.
Dawn and Tom, the girls bedroom is so cozy and just right! You were definitely right about the lights - great location choice and the bulletin boards are such a great addition between the lights and the shelving. The roman shade is the perfect pop of black which really speaks big girls' room. Thanks for sharing the process.
The room is so beautiful!! It turned out so well!! On another note, I don't think you should worry or feel that you need to explain whether or not something is "minimalist". What you have done (everywhere) is beautiful and super simplified, and I think that is what most of us find so inspiring and want to create in our own homes!! Thank you for showing us how it can be done!!
I think it's great that you guys have your OWN ideas about what minimalism is for you. I know that people can be very judgmental when it comes to things like that, but at the end of the day it's really about what works for YOU. The girls' room looks awesome! I hope they enjoy it. It's nice to have a place to retreat.
You are definitely minimalists!! You’ve also been my greatest source of inspiration and motivation. Can’t wait to see the office space come together. You guys work so fast so I’m sure the boys room won’t be far behind.
"Minimalist" is a relative term rather than an exclusive absolute standard. I am inspired by Dawn's example because she is responding to her situation with grace, gentleness, and more than a little intelligent and sharp self awareness and moving methodically toward a better life. Thank you for being so open with your process and example. I am inspired to begin my own gentle and patient minimalist process with my family. Drawer by drawer, space by space. Did the fridge today. Doing the kitchen counters bit by bit. My clothes are next.
Oh my goodness get the boys room done next! :) It will be so nice to have all inside stuff completed and the kids can relax and enjoy it over Christmas!
I love your videos. Because we are at home so much people have the time to nitpick everything. You all are doing what is best for your family. Unless someone is paying your bills they should not have a say about what you do or don’t do. Most often when people are nitpicking it’s because they need to handle something in their own life. It’s easier to pick at other people’s lives rather than fix the problem in their own life. You all are awesome.
Pantene no longer accepts hair donations, so my daughter and I have begun donating ours to Wigs for Kids. They do not charge recipients and they accept hair 8" or longer. They have a very straightforward donation process, with a printable form, so it's easy to do.
You don't tell us exactly what we need to keep or not, you just tell us not to keep things that are taking up time, energy, and space in our lives. Don't let anyone else tell you what you can or can not do. We love you guys!!
Boys room! While it’s snowing knock that out so they enjoy their own rooms too and don’t move in with their sisters! 🤪☺️ minimalist or not-you’re helping tons of people with efficient home improvement and decluttering life and home ideas. Call it whatever you like!
Terrrrrriffffffic Job painting, Adeleine ! And you have SUCH a caring heart to donate your hair to a childrens’ cancer group ! Very meaningful & helpful Gift ! As a cancer survivor myself, I know ! God bless you, Sweetie ! Liz
I think boys room after office/bonus building!! Their excitement may build from seeing their sister enjoying their new room while you're working on this project and then you can surprise them by doing theirs next! ❤ I love your guys version of minimalism, it is SO much more realistic. Thank you guys for sharing all that you do! ❤❤
Christmas isn't about possessions and gifts. Thank you for reminding others of this. I can't wait to try Minute to Win It games!! Love what you guys are about!! It isn't about quantity. It is about the quality of our lives.
Love how this turned out! Perfect for now and as they get older. I vote for a speedy finish in the boys room and then to the outbuilding office. We have a cottage on our property we are renovating and going to do air bnb, so we have flexibility for friends and family and our use of it. Also rent out some of our shed space minus area we leave for the kids to play during winter (Sodak). Always options in life!
Oh definitely office building. Anything that brings family together is the best project. An office space is a bonus, a homeschool space is a great idea. We are home altogether, all of the time and I love it. But if we had a space to build a place for company to come and stay would be such a blessing! So 1,000,000 votes for office building
My daughter donated to Locks of Love and it had to be in a clean braid with elastic at both ends. 10 inches long before braiding was the minimum length. I understand that there is another charity called the Princess Fund. Good heart Adeline 💗 So kind.
I love the girls' room! And the Roman shade is so unexpected in color and yet so fabulous. The swing is amazing. Wonderful job! Clean, lean, and beautiful. What a great opportunity to have room for an office and family. You guys are an inspiration on many levels. I definitely think you're minimalist. Maybe homey minimalists. Your home is very welcoming but not burdened with stuff. For those critical of you not being minimal enough, you do you! It inspires the rest of us.
The girls' room is so bright & cheery! You did a great job! I really enjoy watching all of your projects and always look forward to your Sunday posts. 😁🍁🍂
The definition of minimalist is going to look different for each family because each family has different needs and wants and even what they like to surround themselves with. I have a total of 6 pots/pans/skillets but an entire cabinet of fiestaware and polish pottery dishes because I love color and rotate it so I can use it all.
Love the girls’ room! It looks simple, neat and lovely! Boys’ room should be next.😊 Just an idea for the remote - put Velcro on the back of the remote so it can stick to the shelf or headboard. I realize the remote could still go missing with Velcro on it but you never know. 😂
I don’t feel you need to justify how you define minimalism. As Tom said we all define it in our own way. Dawn you keep your decor very simple while I have my most loved items on display. I’m currently in the purge process making my way through and have gotten rid of so much all ready and it’s just me here! I’d say I’m 50% through. I was widowed in 2012 and in 2014 moved into a smaller older home. I’ve had heart failure and a heart transplant along with depression within that time and things have gotten away from me. Dawn keep up the great tips and tricks because you have most certainly inspired, encouraged, and given me quite a few wake-ups! I’m donating most of my towels and extra blankets to the humane society!
Congratulations! You did it and it looks great. I'm glad the girls are happy, and it's so satisfying to finish a project economically and with clever details. Thanks for sharing! My house is only 75 years old, but there are still 999+ projects on my list to repair.
I would vote that to. But I do understand with all of them at home, all of the time that they would choose for Tom to work outside the home for a little while.
You guys did a fantastic job with the girls' room!!! It's a haven for them now! You ARE minimalists. You are definitely living a simplified lifestyle and you have inspired so many of us, to join your community. Thanks for all the great tips and tricks that you've taught us, along the way. Tom, thin hair and grey hair only make you look more distinguished. No worries. Love watching your videos, guys!
I'm so impressed with you guys and how you are constantly working to improve your surroundings and your lives! I know this all started with a trickling of minimalism from Dawn and it spread throughout the family to serve you well. I am currently a self-described hoarder with dreams of minimalism. Lol anytime I mention that two friends or family, they do tend to laugh pretty hard, because the hoarding part is rather obvious and well known about me. I come from family that made it through the great depression and cultivated the mentality that you needed to hold onto stuff because it could be useful. This mentality can serve well within reason, but it can also cause a lot of stress and chaos. Channels like yours help me to point my boat in the right direction. I don't know that I will ever be a true minimalist, whatever that is. Lol and I love the fact that you guys touched on the fact that minimalism can mean different things to different people. I'm trying to take Dawn's advice and treat myself more kindly and with Grace as I take baby steps in this direction. I have decided to measure my success simply off the idea that as long as my boat is pointed in the right direction, I am doing well! I don't have to be getting to the destination right this minute, and I don't necessarily have to get to someone else's level of minimalism to be considered a success. I ascribe to the idea that minimalism should be whatever you need it to be to free yourself from the burden of excess inventory and stress because of said excess. We have three little boys with a little girl on the way, and I know I can either have happy children or a clean home. Lol but, my hopes are that I can baby step us toward a manageable home that is easy to get to the state of clean. I hope my ramblings made sense. Thank you for all that you share! Stay warm, stay safe, and happy Halloween!
Adeline is just beyond precious and her hair is so gorgeous. What a beautiful gift! Whoever gets her smooth shiny healthy hair is going to be over the moon!
As my completely-bald husband would say, “Tom, at least you have hair.”😂 You two are awesome together. The girls’ room looks beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the next projects.❤️
My husband had already lost a fourth of his hair by the time we started dating (he was 23), almost a third by the time we got married. I knew I was not marrying him for his hair! But bonus, he washes his head (and the 1/16” long fringe of hair on the back of his head with a bar of soap and I trim his hair at home every two weeks for free. More money to go towards coloring and maintaining my hair!
Pantene Beautiful Lengths gave my friend a beautiful wig for her wedding when she had to start chemo shortly before the big day. I will never forget how grateful she was and how confident she felt knowing that she had it as a backup. All my hair donations go to them now in gratitude.
I think the girls room is awesome 💕 If it gets too cold to do the office, I think you should do the boys room! Especially do the boys room before you foster and maybe get a real bed for your youngest!!!! Good luck on all you projects!
Congrats ! The Girls’ room is gorgeous ! Both cozy & spacious ! Love the paint colors , “pop” of curtain color, the extra space 4 keyboard etc, the SWING, storage beds, bedding ... everything ! SO well done & worth the wait ! Yes for Office / Guest House Building ! GO 4 it ! Cant to see & I’m so happy you’ll have that extra , quiet space to focus !
The room looks great..! I would go with Wigs for Kids, for donating her hair. What I've heard is they give the wigs to kids where Locks of love still charge for them..not sure if that's fact, but I would check into it!!
I just watched the linked video about feelings around Christmas gifts and I was so happy to hear you say you love Thanksgiving. I have told my family for YEARS that Thanksgiving is my favorite for all the reasons you stated. It is the same feeling, feast, family gathering, etc, without the pressure and stress of gifts. Thank you for being you and putting yourself out there for others. Hope your family has a wonderful holiday season.
Dawn you asked, “What do you tell your husband...”. You tell him he is as handsome as ever, you love him no matter if he has hair or not and you love him for WHO he is, not his hair (or whatever he thinks a problem might be). 🥰
We always say that as well Tom ; we are minimalist farm folks from your neighbouring Manitoba . We don’t keep stuff around that doesn’t spark joy for us - or have a useful purpose ... but that’s certainly more ITEMS than say an urban couple not living in a 4 season climate . Oh & Hubby DOES have a few dozen classic vehicles he has been collecting since he bought his 1st one at the age of 12 . Some folks think they make him a hoarder - but they are a source of great joy to him & he continues to add to his collection ; not unlike ones prized Classic book collection ... it just takes up more room . 🤪 Continued blessings to you and your family . Last day of Oct & just a skiff of snow here in west central Manitoba so you have us beat this year . 😊❤️😊
Tom is so talented. You are both so blessed to have each other. You are a blessing to everyone. Thank you for always inspiring us. God bless your entire family
As we get older, some things recede and others expand 😄 we just continue to bless each other with affirmations. Great job on the room. You're so lucky to have a "do-er".
Adding a space for family members can be important, and having a designated place for work can be helpful especially with homeschooling multiple kids! Hospitality is a wonderful thing and being able to have a place for people to sleep is important, I think it will be a great project even if others dont consider it minimal! Go for it!
We did the same thing with our king size bed, for our daughter and son. Each side of our bed had 3 half width drawers. Perfect for each of the kids to have 3 full width drawers. tons of storage for clothes. Great for small rooms..no need for dressers.
Everything looks terrific! It was so great to see the girls react to their new room♥️ -also, I wish I could edit OUT all of the negativity in your comments. You are a wonderful, hard working, positive family and deserve only support and constructive feedback. Thanks for all you do and for letting us all be a part of it.
I agree, minimalism is defined in many different ways - it’s definitely a personal decision. I’m on board with the office project!!! It makes complete sense to have a quieter space to work at times. Plus, I love the fact that your adding a guest room/ apartment(?) for Tom’s family to visit. I’m looking forward to seeing this project unfold!! The girl’s room looks great!! Great job! And finally, I’m so sorry about 7 inches of snow in October....I’m not a fan even though I live in NJ. We woke to snow this morning - had to clear off the cars. It’s afternoon and already gone.
Having the office doesn’t make you not minimalist. As a family of 6, you need a work space especially if your job is working from home. I love the girls room and how creative you were with what you already had
You talk about a simple or simplistic lifestyle I don't know about the minimalist stuff people take it to an extreme sometimes But this simple or simplistic lifestyle it's what makes you happy in your home healthy And whatever is functional for that specific family🦋
P.s. the room is ADORABLE. WOW! Love everything. Clever touches. Ahhh so clutter free....”Use it or lose it use it or lose it” 💪 I’m going to go attack my Workshoppe!
Good luck on your foster care endeavor. I worked CPS years ago and know good foster parents are sorely needed. The successful ones I knew thought of their foster care journey as a mission.
Helga, the wife of Hagar the Horrible said: "If you wear that helmet all the time, you will be bald soon." Hagar replied: "If I wear the helmet all the time, no one will ever know!" 😁
I love the color, and painted my whole house this color in Benjamin Moore Blue Bonnet (practically identical to yours) because we live on the west coast in a very rainy area, meaning frequent grey skies. it brightens everything and is very light reflective, even more than white. The one room that is not aqua is painted in Benjamin Moore's Gentlemen's Grey, which is really a dark navy/teal. It will be my art gallery. The girl's room is so cute, pretty, and practical. I love how much you use your creativity to solve 'problems'! That is a great lesson for all of us. I can't wait to see how you fix up the boy's room!
I think you should work on the boys room! They live in your house full time, they should have a nice space like the girls do! Maybe while your working on other projects, you can be thinking of ways to make the boys room special for them! Are bunk beds feasible for the boys? That would give them more space in their room! Maybe a swing for them as well? I think the girls room looks beautiful! If ever needed, you can alway hang a curtain to use as a closet door!
My vote would be for you to finish your boys' bedroom but I can completely understand why you feel the need to get the office space done sooner rather than later. It's tough for a family to be together all the time. Thank you so much for all of your great videos. Hugs!!
I’m with y’all and having a place for the grandparents to stay so that they can spend time with their grands. I’m a great grandmother to one and grandma to seven an I would loved to have a special place like you’re planning. Love the girls room Many blessings to you and your wonderful family. From California where it’s 80 sorry to say.
Looks great! Love, love, love it! Yeah Tom can work on the office/guest house and Dawn can paint and decorate boys room. I don't think the boys room needs lots of construction, does it? You should give the boys a swing too, I'm sure you could find one more boyish. Love your channel. Love and blessings ❤🙏
The girls' room is so beautiful. I LOVE the look of the closet not being closed off by a door. As a kid, I would have used that as more of a secret room and I still get that vibe, so I love it. Work on what you want to work on next! It's your homestead. 💕 You'll get to all of the projects you have eventually. To be honest, I am so looking forward to seeing progress on the office building! It really is an inspiration the way you guys get things done. You're setting a great example for you kids... and us! 🥰
The renovation looks amazing, so glad you brought us along on your reno journey. Tom I am will to accept 80% done as right now my kitchen is 100% torn apart. lol
When my husband started losing hair, I told him to go bald. He shaved his head and immediately looked about 10-years younger. It has been 13 years now and I love it! Also, YIKES! about the snow.
Our 9 year old donated a 10 inch ponytail to "locks of love" through Pantene. I believe the minimum requirement was 8 inches, but she wanted to be SURE they could use it. It's a Canadian location, so maybe not what you would prefer, but it was a great experience. She got a thank you letter back :).
Don't let anyone tell you how to do Minimal. My favorite thing about you is you saying "you do you". I am a eco-frugal who dabbles in minimal meets Prepper. Because I found you I have finally felt the ability to concur my house again which has been creeping back up since my last house burned in 2016 and my mother passes Oct 2016. Losing everything was both freeing and devastating. But you have given me the ability to pick and choose better and let go again. Combining how you wade though things with my 15 min or 10 min at a time because of having Ehlor Danlos has been amazing, and giving myself permission to only have cloth that fit and look and feel good has been so freeing. also you are so blessed to have such an amazing family from your kids and mom and sister to Tom and his family and making space so that his family can visit more should be a priority. Because family far and wide is so important to you and your children.

You guys are the boss of home renovation! Working together to get it done....beautiful!
Relationship goals forsure!!
I use the term “ simplist “. We live simply with what we need and enjoy.
I like that term!❤🇨🇦
Love that!! Simple and intentional. That is what I am striving for!!
I LOVE this!
I have been wanting to use something different from minimalist to describe our family for a while. That is perfect!
@@lynnegordon6749 me too !!! lol
“Minimalist” - “not minimalist”... these are just labels and they don’t define how “you do you”. I find you guys so inspirational and your kind words are helping us no end in sorting out our excess stuff that has filled our home and we’re so grateful for this channel.
Turned out awesome! So fun And inviting for them!! Great job!! Thank you for sharing!
Jay Jay, I agree with you. I Love this Channel and has given me hope to de-hoard.
Your girls' room looks so cozy and inviting ! Can't wait to see what you're planning for the office space ! I hope you are going to put in a kitchen/kitchenette of some sort. That would be so helpful for guests or even for you while working out there or doing homeschooling.

Really love you channel. Thank you for sharing your lives and relationships. The guest space would be a great gift to your whole family.
Yes I agree ! Boys room !! keep them all happy in a serene place so they can occupy themselves while working on the bigger project !!
The boys room! Finish their room! Look how great the girls’ room turned out.

"No" to locks for love . I've sent hair to children with hair loss and I think wigs for kids is good . I'm a hairdresser . I think 8 inches is probably enough. Love your channel .
Put a command Velcro strip on the remotes and the other strip on their night stand shelves!
That's a really good idea!!!
Was going to suggest this 👍🏻
I did this for my two kids
I wish I could find the photo. Our friend's husband used metal strapping to attach their TV remote to the arm of their couch after their kids lost it for the 100th time. Metal strapping! Screws right into the arm of the couch. Face palm.

The girls’ room is so pretty!! Fresh, soft and serene! Well done!
You are so blessed to have a guy that can build things. I hope you let him know how much you appreciate him.
You guys have done a fantastic job on the girls' room. You always inspire your viewers to simplify. Thank you both. xx
I tell my hubby- “I didn’t marry you for your hair”
Farms are hard to minimize since there is so many buildings you can stick stuff!
I did Locks of Love. The length was 14" when I did it years ago. I love the room and the bedding is so easy to care for, which is wonderful!
Thanks for posting this info! I'm getting ready to donate mine. Third time in five years!
The girls' room turned out beautifully! So spacious, bright, cozy and uncluttered. Perfectly suited to quiet reading & sleeping. Love it!
"It is a dream bedroom!" Sweetest feedback ever
Terrrrrriffffffic Job painting, Adeleine ! And you have SUCH a caring heart to donate your hair to a childrens’ cancer group ! Very meaningful & helpful Gift ! As a cancer survivor myself, I know ! God bless you, Sweetie ! Liz
Command velcro strips work well for the remotes! Thats what i did for my oldests bed lights remote.
Rooms look good ! What a sweet kid to want to donate her hair !
My vote would be : finish the boys' room, the office building, and other projects
Boys’ room should be next.😊
Just an idea for the remote - put Velcro on the back of the remote so it can stick to the shelf or headboard. I realize the remote could still go missing with Velcro on it but you never know. 😂
I love Tom’s passion about all of this and that he is so involved!!!! You guys are so cute!! Love all of the projects!! Great job!! ❤️🙋🏻♀️
The girl's room looks great! Love the repurposed bed.
The boys room definitely gets my vote for the next priority project. The girls room looks AMAZING! Stay safe guys. xoxooxox
Congratulations! You did it and it looks great. I'm glad the girls are happy, and it's so satisfying to finish a project economically and with clever details. Thanks for sharing! My house is only 75 years old, but there are still 999+ projects on my list to repair.
I vote the boys room to be done.
ME, THREE or 50 or whatever!
Ha!!! You are now working on an actual Barndominium! I love those conversions!
The girls' room looks amazing!!! Great job! I vote for the boys room too. 😀
The girls' room is adorable! I love following your family's home renovations and decluttering tips. ❤
The room looks fantastic! And I love your definition of Minimalism- you guys make it seem possible no matter what your circumstances are.
I would think the boys room. What ever you decide I will be here to watch. God bless!!!
It looks amazing. You have two lucky young ladies. Love what you've done there. 👍
I meant : Can’t WAIT to see !
Love love love your channel. The girls room looks amazing and I cannot wait to see updates on the old cow shelter!!!
Thank you Debbie!!!
You are the quintessential minimalists! Do what works for you and be happy !
do the boys room. They need an update.
100% office building.💖 Life is too short. Enjoy the times w/your loved ones.💞😌
Our foster baby turns 7 weeks today!
That's so cool!! Blessings to you guys!!!
Happy 7 weeks old, baby!
Thank you for serving the needy children of this world. Kudos to you. You are among the real heroes of this world!
Adding a space for family members can be important, and having a designated place for work can be helpful especially with homeschooling multiple kids! Hospitality is a wonderful thing and being able to have a place for people to sleep is important, I think it will be a great project even if others dont consider it minimal! Go for it!
Just what you said to Tom it’s ok. So sweet
We did the same thing with our king size bed, for our daughter and son. Each side of our bed had 3 half width drawers. Perfect for each of the kids to have 3 full width drawers. tons of storage for clothes. Great for small rooms..no need for dressers.
Just curious, where would you foster the kids? As in, where would their room be? Love the renovated girls room!
Boys room would be my suggestion- I’ve noticed a baby crib in their room, what are their ages? I love all the projects y’all do!!
It’s just an older picture with the crib they have said.
You talk about a simple or simplistic lifestyle I don't know about the minimalist stuff people take it to an extreme sometimes
But this simple or simplistic lifestyle it's what makes you happy in your home healthy
And whatever is functional for that specific family🦋
P.s. the room is ADORABLE.
Helga, the wife of Hagar the Horrible said: "If you wear that helmet all the time, you will be bald soon." Hagar replied: "If I wear the helmet all the time, no one will ever know!" 😁
🤣
😂
Too Funny!🤣❤😂❤
Bunk beds aren't possible but we have some other fun ideas!
@@TheMinimalMom Awesome! Can’t wait to see what you come up with for the boys!!
My vote would be for you to finish your boys' bedroom but I can completely understand why you feel the need to get the office space done sooner rather than later. It's tough for a family to be together all the time. Thank you so much for all of your great videos. Hugs!!
Us long time subscribers remember your office building.
Yup
Or a gym/trapeze bar or rings for flips when it’s snowy out and they need to use up some energy
@@becpark2289 yes!
Tom I am will to accept 80% done as right now my kitchen is 100% torn apart. lol
Hahaha, love this!! Wish we could come and help!!!!
Beautiful job creating your old bed into your daughter’s beds! I love everything you’ve done in their room! Great job!! ☀️🤗
When my husband started losing hair, I told him to go bald. He shaved his head and immediately looked about 10-years younger. It has been 13 years now and I love it! Also, YIKES! about the snow.
I love that look! 😄
I was surprised by the snow!!!!
I love your idea of minimalism as only having what you are able to manage - this has really struck a cord with me xx
I’ve donated to that program twice 🤗
