finally a good review on this boot thank you
Just here to help :)
You skied this boot almost exclusively last year and will ski the Ranger Pro almost exclusively this year.
I’d be really interested in your pros and cons for each 😏
Oh I’ll tell ya what, that PU Ranger is a real boot. This is a touring boot.
Hi
In other brands, what boots could compete with these in terms of performance? I come from Tecnica Cochise, and I am looking for a boot that is more comfortable for the climbs but stiff enough for the descents.
Thanks
This would very much be like a tecnica Zero G. It’s light, but not lacking in performance.
Dynafit Hoji Free Tour
@@keithmayotte1512 Are they softer than the Cochise or not really?
@@pedropianta No personal experience with the Cochise but I run the Hoji daily everywhere (EC resort, backcountry out west, resort touring) and find them plenty stiff with an intuition liner. Hoji lock is amazing.
What about the transalp tour?
Just a cheaper version. Power-Strap is not as high quality but good enough. My hardshell broke by the front interface of the „wire buckle“. But it is returned under warranty. I probably get the pro now.
This video would have been better if that was a grateful dead shirt you were wearing
