Have been following Smokey Mose for a while , what a lovely guy he is , your right he deserves to do well . The review you gave him is a credit to the time he puts in to the humble spud. Great review there in Bournemouth.😜👏⭐️❤️👍🙏🏼
Well! I'm sitting at my little table, home made pizza and home made coleslaw when I began watch your Spud video. I saw the menu and thought hmmm that burnt beef ends sounds great. What did you choose? Well the beef ends spud. I could tell by your facial expressions how good that was. I pretended that the tuna on my pizza tasted really nice and a bit barbecuey, if that's a word. But really I wanted that baked potato. I ate half of my rectangular pizza and gave up. Tomorrow I am going to Lidl for the heavy items and I am getting some potatoes for baking and hopefully they will have some burnt beef ends that come in a box. I have never tried them as I cannot see what they look like or how much of them there are in the box, but I am so envious of your baked potato experience. Might do a chilli con carne later in the week in the slow cooker. Those two meals were definitely worth the money. 👍🙏🏼🥔🥔
Homemade pizza? We made so many of them during lockdown, need to get back to doing them again. Might even be able to find one to fit into my budget meal series perhaps! Smokey Mose was indeed a different level of spud experience certainly, never had a spud like it. Those burnt ends were sooooo good. The guy who runs it lived in Texas for 3 years, and picked up a love of all things BBQ while he was there, hence him smoking his own meats. Really nice guy putting his heart and soul into something, what's not to like!!
@@GreenoEats Proper smoked meat. Sometimes the smokiness on stuff is sprayed on. About two miles from where I live is a Polish corner shop. Sometimes they have full smoked mackerel that have been on a metal pole in a smoker. They are so good and huge. Cost about £2! Yes the pizza was a 2020/ 21/ 22 thing using up bits. Fried rice and stir fries too. Used a lot of tuna and noticed the stash I still have of tuna in brine is coming up to the use by date. I would use the tiniest piece of carrot and chop it up really fine, sweetcorn out of a can which I don't like really but was ok in a stir fry or fried rice. I even chopped up radish that I grew in a plant pot. The only thing I managed to grow. The green beans and peas were minimal. A video on a lockdown meal would be good. 👍
This guy puts a lot of time and effort into providing delicious food at a very reasonable price. Other spud places might be cheaper, but I’ll take this quality over a tinned curry any day of the week 🙂

The first word that springs to mind with people paying for a jacket potato as a takeaway is "lazy". Fundamentally, it is the easiest thing to cook at home, so why bother paying 5 times the price as doing it yourself? However, if the potato inside is completely soft and the skin is properly crispy and not limp or soggy, and the toppings are adventurous enough (not just cheese and baked beans) then maybe it is worth thinking about. Judging by your review, this guy really does do it properly, so it may be worth it.
What I loved about this place was the amount of effort put into the toppings. This guy has his own smoker to make the burnt ends. A lot of spud vans just use simple, pre-made toppings, but this was next level. Even the spuds themselves were great. An inexpensive, filling and very tasty lunch!
