Are there any disadvantages running clinchers on these tubeless ready wheels (no rim tape needed)? I.e. where exactly lies the difference between tubeless ready rim and a clincher only wheel?

No real disadvantages, they roll very nice even using standard tubes, you could put Tubolito or Butyl tubes and feel the smoothness on the road

They are carbon, got them, totally satisfied but braking when it rains is close to a miracle...
