Sorry, I don't have this car any more. But you just have to pull it off - brute force, there's no special trick (except to hold and pull near the clips so you don't snap it)
This was a 2015 Peugeot 208 Active. Manufacturers don't tend to change the mounting installation design/style significantly year to year, so even if yours is a bit different, it's probably got a very similar method of mounting. You can get access to the official peugeot service docs for a small fee (should be free, but oh well) - public.servicebox.peugeot.com Language setting is at the bottom right of the website to change it from French to English.
@@olivercouch1651 Thanks. How did you get the chrome surround off, that is what I am struggling with? I assume it just clips on and off but is hard to get hold of it to pull and cannot get anything behind it and I am worried about damaging it? Really would like some advice on how you got it off please?
@@inquistive There was no special trick, it just pulled off. But yes it was hard to do. You can feel where the clips are by how the plastic flexes. Make sure to pull as near the clips as possible so you don't snap the chrome trim. Perhaps use some plastic bodywork/trim removal tools to help get it off without damaging it.
Can you show us a guide on how to take off the chrome frame please? :)
