Why did I move 3,000 miles away from home? What am I searching for out here? How did this even happen? This video says it all (or most of it).

I will be 60 yrs and retired from teaching five yrs ago. Crazy but I want to California. I wonder if I can do it. Sell my house and move.

I’ve been having a strong urge to leave Atlanta and go to California. I’m coming out the end of this month for my birthday but to also visualize myself there like you said! The thought of moving coast to coast is scary. But watching this gave me clarity that I need to follow that tiny voice inside. Thank you✨

I did it 7 years ago from Houston to SoCal...got so much negativity until they saw how much better it was for me here.

Good for you. Las Vegas resident here. Grew up in the San Fernando valley in CA. Decided a few years ago my partner and I wanted to move back to California to settle down. Ventura county area. Run up in housing prices and high interest has delayed things but hearing people are still able to make it gives us hope. Definitely a great motivation.

Thank you for your video my girl just left our apartment with my 4 year old and I’m now currently moving too LA in the next two months and it’s very scary and a little overwhelming knowing my kid will be back in Chicago but I just really have something in my gut telling me to go and I know this will change my entire families life and I’m so excited to get out and hustle and make a name for my self seriously thank you for your video and your words of wisdom

I’ve been applying to lots of jobs in CA for after graduation already. I hope I get a job offer there! I feel intuition that I need to move there. I think I’d be happier there mentally, I need more warm weather.
this is SO comforting. i am currently apartment searching in NYC and my gut is telling me that the city is not right for me. i actually toured a few apartments and when i got home that night i cried nonstop from the stress and because something just felt off. i've been dreaming of living in CA since i was a little girl but i don't know anyone there :(
Born and raised in SoCal so it much easier for me to always stay here… but even if I was solo I would never move anyplace else. Congrats.
Wow this just aligned with me so much! Didn’t even realize it was San Diego till the video started & that’s where I’m moving too in a 3 months by myself from Dallas! This was perfect motivation & we seem to have similar reasons for moving. Would even love to have you as a friend once I get down there in March :)
How did the move go?
I'am also planning to move to CA, from FL, mainly because from my past experience we used to pay for our apartment almost 2.5 times less in 2021, cost of living in Florida is getting on the same level as in CA, car insurance, flooding all year around, and there is no point for me to suffer from super brutal heat in FL, and swamp.. Maybe in Fall, i will start relocating to CA. Thank you for this video, it gives chills, that CA is still not lost.

Thank you for this video. I've wanted to move to California since I was younger but it would be such a big move living in NYC. The winters here have gotten so harsh and longer. The whole environment keeps someone down especially with increasing rent. I'm starting to think a move like is what I might need.

I'm hoping to move from Michigan to San Diego for the same reasons! I love nature, and the outdoors. It sucks dealing with negative temperatures and crazy snow out here. I'm so excited to transition to a better quality of life!

omg i just stumbled upon ur video while looking for san diego content and i related soo much! im from new york and always thought the exact same thing about the winters! i thought after college i'd live in the city for a year or two and THEN move to california like i always planned but then i realized i shouldnt stay in a state/city i dont actually want to be in anymore. i still need to pick what city in california but san diego has always stuck out to me. im super scared to move to a place where i literally dont know anyone (especially when all my friends & family are back in ny) and have to go through awkward periods of not having friends but at the same time ive known ive wanted to do this since i was like 13. hoping to make the move late this year!!
Omg that is crazy we are so similar!! Do it do it do it, on your own timeline but I promise you, you won’t regret it. You will feel the most YOU you’ve ever felt in your life. My best friend has also wanted to live here since she was young and now that she’s done it she says she’s never leaving. I’m rooting for you! 💕

Everyone I’ve told has been so negative about it. “Oh you don’t wanna do that” like no I absolutely do want to do that. The only person that’s not is my cousin and he’s done it too lol
Those who are scared to do it themselves will project onto you.. don’t take advice from anyone you don’t want to be like! Update: 2 years in and I LOVE California I don’t plan to move anytime soon. Highly recommend if you haven’t done it yet!

I grew up in Southern California and lived there 50 years. The traffic and taxes chased me away. It just wasn’t worth it to me to stay. That was 14 years ago and don’t miss it at all.

I’ve seen everything in California. I’ve been up and down and all around that state at least 20 times and the angriest/douchiest people I ever met lived in Orange County. By far the most arrogant and conceited jackasses in the state. Ground zero
for douche canoes is Corona Del Mar. Followed by Mission Viejo.
