Thanks for this informative video. I should be using Adobe Bridge more than I do, hopefully now I will!
can the metadata (keywords) be shared with other computers, to use Bridge with network or cloud storage?
hi, will searches in bridge integrate with MAC finder so that I can enter the tags I've assigned to files at a finder level? if not can I add them as keywords within bridge to access the finder tags?
@@VideoRevealed that was my question too. Bummer. Thanks for the info and video!
e se eu precisar encontrar mais de uma foto? Por exemplo, a foto que contem em seu nome 225, 226, 231 e 240. como devo fazer isso? apenas separando por virgula?
Although I select the option "Windows Desktop Search" in Quick Search, Bridge shows me only "files" with the searched word, but not "folders". Why?
Can you sort by geotag/location...?
I will try. Sometimes the spotlight in mac can not find files in external drives; or those drives are not indexable. So, Bridge better than spotlight?
Maybe, I would think Spotlight will be faster and when you are searching outside of Bridge, you're using the same index that Spotlight is using.
what screen capture software are you using? With all those zoom in/out and red mark stuff
Thank you for this helpful video. This seems not to work on files stored offline on Sharepoint. It seems to spend ages indexing before it can do a search so each search takes an hour or more!
What if I want to search for files from a particular app? Like I want to find only files made in Rush or ID? Thanks for the video .... I found it super helpful and am looking for your others now!
Thanks for the video. I was wondering if you knew the answer to this query. When I use Quick Find Windows Desktop Search: Current Folder/Computer it doesn't find *.CR2 (Raw) photos that are keyworded with my search term but when I use the Bridge Search it does find those keyworded *.CR2 files. Any idea why? Cheers. (Advanced Search DOES find the *.CR2 files, it is only the Windows Desktop Search that doesn't).
Does Adobe Bridge index files? When adding keywords, do the files get edited (metadata) or is it a keyword added to a index (database)?
Bridge keeps it's own database up to date so anything you add or change is updated/indexed.
I have been using Picasa on a Mac for many years. The feature I love is that I can scroll for hours because all my folders are open, so no need to stop and open each one individually. Is there a way to do this in Bridge?
Have a look at this tutorial. You could created a custom collection that looks in all folders.

@@VideoRevealed colin, if I make collections, will they always be available even after updates?
hello , i wanted to arrange my photos properly (some are horizontal some vertical .. sleeping right ... sleeping left ) i want to turn some pics right some left , delete some unwanted & arrange some in pics ... from iphone . when i am opening my iphone from bridge it shows file name with jpg extention but preview is not shown. same folder if i copy from phone to my laptop and then open the folder all pics are seen . is there any setting that i can modify and see all pics in my iphone and arrange it .
thanks
Bridge needs to write data to the hard drive when previewing files and the iPhone is probably preventing that so you must copy to a local drive first.
Can you help me please? On my hard drive, I wanted to look at a folder of 3f files (fff - from Imacon scans) for editing. I clicked on all the 3f files in one folder and dropped them into Adode Bridge CC 2019, thinking I would just view them and then go back to my hard drive folder to select and start editing in PS CC 2019. However, subsequently, all my files on my hard drive folder are now aliases (small black check in lower left corner). All my original files remain in Adobe Bridge. I can't figure out how to move the originals back to my hard drive folder. When I click and drag a file to my hard drive folder, another alias is added to the folder, not the original. How do I move these original files in Bridge back into my hard drive folder?
Right-click on an alias and choose Show Original. This will locate the original file so you can move it in the Finder.
@@VideoRevealed Thanks for your prompt response. However, I can locate all the original files, they are in Abobe Bridge CC 2019. The problem is moving the originals back to my Document folder on my hard drive where I keep all my files. I can't figure out how to move the originals back.
i am using bridge 2020, after search ... no pictures found help
I contacted Adobe help they suggested purge files they face me a link, it works. thank you Peter
wtf ... I tag all my fookin photos and cant even apply a simple fooking filter to get my photos with that tag
Can someone just tell me how to search within a single folder in Bridge?
There's a little drop down menu right beside the search field where you can choose where to search. Searching in the current folder is the default.
thnx sir for this tutorial, I was waiting for the tutorial on a bridge from so many time, i have one question, I am using a mac, I use bridge also, for video preview, but mts file doesn't play in bridge plz help me for this
Not all files will play in Bridge. That specific format needs a codec that is not in Bridge so there is no way to see it. Just like trying to see it in the Finder on Mac.
@@VideoRevealed thanx
