They were reasonably priced, shipping was also reasonable and they shipped pretty quickly. Note: I'm not affiliated with Kpop USA in any way. I'm just trying to spread the word. If enough of these sell DC will probably re-release more of their older albums, which would make me, and so many other InSomnias, happy.
@@SquishyJoshy You'll find a lot of metal heads in kpop fandoms in general but DC has been a gateway for a lot of people. It's lead to them having one of the more diverse fandoms in the industry. At a Dreamcatcher concert you'll find everything from teen boys and girls to tatted up metal heads, and people in their retirement years. It's pretty crazy.

By the way - many B-sides have so-called special clips and serve many genres. Always musically high quality (examples: "Red sun", "Shatter", "Demian"..). They are also recommended live. I'm glad I reacted to them! When I first checked out Scream it was like okay we definitely have to check out more and I'm glad they mix both electronic elements with rock. LOL oh my gosh I am so sorry if I disappointed you with my comment on Odd Eye being the least favourite, I don't hate the song, actually after more listens I like it more than how I initially reacted to it. Since you mentioned the visual motifs, one thing about the trilogy is the progression of time. Scream is a high fantasy/witch hunt theme, Boca is a more modern day theme, and Odd Eye is a futuristic cyberpunk theme. So no matter how long you search, you will not find a utopia.
The different Dreamcatcher series tend to be connected more by theme/ storyline than the style of the music. Experimenting with different genres and sounds is something they do a lot. In terms of the VFX and production design, they're under a small company, and the music videos are noticeably affected by the performance of the previous album. Boca did really well, so Odd Eye has a more expensive video. OOTD didn't do as well, so Justice has a simpler video. For future videos, the Apocalypse series is great! Maison, Vision and Bonvoyage. Or Deja Vu and BEcause are good standalones if you prefer, and two of my favourite Dreamcatcher music videos.

I love your reaction to the ending title card 😂 same! (On a narrative level, iirc it's supposed to indicate that there is no 'utopia' we can hide away in from all the hate, we have to live in reality and work to make the world better around us... but it's been a while since I last went through meta and interviews on this series!) If you watch the video closely, you can see how each member activates an "odd eye" (with heterochromatic lenses or digital effects), which allows them to see the truth behind the supposed paradise they live in. Hence why they're all reaching towards screens/barriers of some kind, and in the end they break through and see the truth. In Scream, the tree of language is set up as a sort of Babel tower analogue - when it dies, people stop to communicate and instead start hating on each other. Members play both the role of 'goddesses' who try to protect the tree and 'demons' or witches who destroy it. The theme of goddesses protecting the tree is taken up again in Boca, too! ...my favourite line is probably Dami's rap in Boca "I'm a geek the big paradox/A killer that protects (you)", what with the cyberpunk aesthetic.

It's why I fell in love with Dreamcatcher's MVs, they often tell a narrative in them (mostly in this arc and in the Nightmare arc, the Apocalypse arc Maison-Vision-Bonvoyage is more thematically connected than narratively). Yes, Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger! Here's a recommendation for your next reaction: Deja Vu. It was right before the Dystopia trilogy and is one of their best songs if you ask me! It's also stand-alone.

I won't get into it more because it would take an essay lol. although the trilogy has their most views, it's by far my least favorite music wise because it is the most mainstream sounding of their songs, hence more popular I guess. almost all their songs are different so maybe check out the apocalypse trilogy(maison, vision, bon voyage), perhaps one at a time if you don't have time for long videos :D

Boca brings the story to the present where internet haters regularly drive high profile entertainers to take their own lives in South Korea. The angels who died a few months before the song was released were Kpop idol Goo Hara and actress Sulli who were relentlessly persecuted online. Odd Eye is set in a likely future if this trend continues. The date on Gahyun's computer is 2099. With deep fakes and AI driven propaganda, people have lost the ability to tell truth from lies in what pours out of the internet. As the song says 'Everything is a plausible lie covered by sweetness'. Odd eye refers to people who have two different eye colors. In the video the members are wearing colored contact lenses to get the effect. Korean mythology states that people with an odd eye can see through all lies and falsehoods. Dreamcatcher are warning everyone to use their 'odd eye' when watching anything on the internet. The way to Utopia is not online. The Apocalypse trilogy is the next one after Dystopia and deals with environmental issues.
Dreamcacher Dystopian trilogy is there sort of speaking out against bullying, particularly cyber bulllying , whcih is very prevalent in the korean idols, mind you some idols did take their own lives because of this issue, dont want to go deeper into that, but something i might want to add to not sure, but i read or heard something that the dystopian trilogy is somewhat akin to the 3 monkeys if your familiar with it, the saying HEAR NO EVIL, SPEAK NO EVIL AND SEE NO EVIL as was properly depicted on each of their 3 videos , well that was just a fan fact for you to relish on

Cyber bullying is way to prevalent in todays society. People sometimes just don't realise how their words can cause a lot of pain to someone on the other end who's reading it. The hardest part is when you have to stay strong and pretend like the comments don't affect you. Glad there are songs like these speaking up about it.
