i am hooked to this show... after two episodes! don't change anything, this format's perfect... my dude nargie is a cool host, the guest's are genuine people and the landscapes are astonishing! Keep it up :) greetings from Luxembourg, Europe!
Oh yeah! Modern Nomads! Strictly Dumpling introduced me to this restaurant chain. The food served here, traditional Mongolian food, is very delicious. I hope to travel to Mongolia to explore its beautiful cultural heritage, meet its people, and eat its cuisine someday. It's a very beautiful place. Love from the United States! 🇲🇳🇺🇸
Man, oh Man, I just love hanging out and cruizin' with coool Mongolians!!! Thanks Nargie and Arteger. I feel like I'm in good hands when I travel with this guy, who shows me the best of Mongolia. Great Country!!! Sweetest, kindest people!
yeah in our some history there is an aimag(village) called tureg. This is called very similiar to turk.U can read it from Mongolian secret history which is wriiten in 12th century.
It's rare for tough horseback folk to show such emotion, but I see everyone welcome him with a smile, that is a compliment on its own. Keep it up, I love your channel. I will try to make this dish, it looks amazing. Greetings from Hungary.
Bro I am from India and after seen u episode I changed my dream destination man... I must say Mongolia cousine is awsome and plz bro if u can we want know abt Mongolian tourist destination also
Ok 2 questions, when you say "japan vinegar" is that actual black vinegar or is japan vinegar the mongolian word for soy sauce? 2 if somebody wanted to try that dipping sauce and lived nowhere near mongolia, what sort of wine would the use?
Are you freaking kidding me?! This looks awesome :D Traditional dish made new I love it! Something I always complained about Mongolians is that they don't enrich their cuisine like other countries do. Now Im looking into booking tickets to Mongolia and it will be my first time travelling there without my family members, just me and my bf...... It's gonna be tasty and fun!
This is awesome. Hate that every time sth resembles a Chinese dish then there comes some sayings " it originates in China." Given the complex inner-Asian historical exchange, probably many things deemed Chinese (from today's perspective) has its origin in the North and Central Asia.
While I agree completely, in the terms or this specific case it's likely that the dish originated in China as chaobing, primarily since as a nomadic shepardint people wheat wasn't a part or their diet until the mongols began conquering more agrarian civilisations such as Korea and China. It's likely that it's roots began in China but spread across the empire and is now the staple dish of Mongolia.

Right on emotion. Compared to Koreans and Chinese, we are not as emotionally expressive as them. Even Orwell said "sad Mongolian face".
The food looks amazing, found your channel by accident, loving it.
