Psilocybin containing mushrooms saved my life. The drastically reduced my benzodiazepine withdrawal allowing me to quit illicit pills addiction after three years.

Microdosing effectively eased my depression. Feeling that psilocybin's illegality is a humanitarian concern.

I am so excited about all of the conscious awareness of the fact that clearly shutting down psychedelics , prohibition isn't the way. Let's set up the proper places with the proper options like retreats for people who want use it, and if they are experienced in it enough others can guide us or get a license for their self to use at home. But not push it on everybody. We need a change and a global awakening of what we are doing in our world and also we can finally open up to all the past history that was shunned to talk about that has shaped our world even today

Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve our problems with same thinking we used when we created them.” We created an legal system which is adversarial by nature, a winner and a loser. We created a competitive economic system and educational system creating corporate slavery. Our economic system is fueled by the insatiable appetite of consumerism depleting our Earth’s resources faster than they can be replenished. Einstein also said in reference to Nuclear energy, “Humanity hasn’t evolved enough to use this energy for only peaceful purposes.” Personally, I dropped out of society and into a spiritual community, a communal living society thinking that was part of the solution at that time but I experienced the same nepotism, control, manipulation, dogmatic and judge mental attitudes of society at large. My current thought is that humanity hasn’t evolved enough to live that potentially egalitarian peaceful way of life of selfless service to all. Many communities exist but by necessity live isolated to one degree or another from main stream society. Today I live alone and I am free to practice meditation but I am still contributing to the depletion of our collective resources. However, I am not giving up my optimism for a quantum leap in consciousness for all of humanity. In the meantime keep working on changing myself to express Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. As Dr. Joe Dispenza says, “When we change ourselves, we change the world!” --

DMT will save the earth and humanity, we just need to decriminalise and get the word out there without the shadow of us being druggies, and then we will be remembered in history as the pioneers who stood fast against ridicule from the sheep baa baa baa🤣 Lets start the next step in human evolution, end war, racism and go back to nature and live with joy and love and not hate and greed👍

Awesome. Ayahuasca, dmt & 5-meo-dmt are illegal in Australia so the war on drugs which I call war on medicines is still here hence the overwhelming evidence of what these plants / entheogens can do.

I know how amazing Terrence was and I love how he described what he experienced. . . But I'm glad Dennis was there to try to keep him grounded in believability, though. Dennis made it somewhat rigorous, and you can see what he was trying to do. Having the experiences of both rounds it all out. If I had a time machine I'd go back and watch him repetitively dropping his camera and the winnebago ppl staring lol. You can't script movies like that. 😅😂
I had the full entity experience on shrooms but it wasn't because of bravery. Accident. Nothing was happening so I ate the whole bag. You know if you trip that hard accidentally there is no way to enjoy it. Deliberately going back there knowing what it is like is beyond brave. Even facing your fears and conquering it once doesn't mean the next time won't be just as challenging.
    Great video, thank you

I'm not convinced by the story of Bohm and Oppenheimer, both of them had troubles with McCarthyism and accusations of being communists as you can see in the Nolan movie...

Dennis' acceptance of the default mode network, eventually reasserting itself via equilibrium, doesn't ring true, in that out of body travel can be overt, via lucid dreams, or volitional with practice. Mind you, I was never good at those occult methods, but held that the visual field hypothesis coming from experience while out of body, somehow coordinated with the chemical nuts and bolts of physical consciousness. In other words if you can cultivate an out of body awareness then that would negate a filtering mechanism operating 24/7.

Im not making claims on either just stating what has clearer evidence at this point.

What I have been shown in the light is far greater than any trip or high I was on. That happens after setting your own heart and mind free with truth. They keep people in ego, especially guys with their doctrines laws and dicks like the light passes through his seed 😂😆

    • @MarkLada
      @MarkLada Рік тому

You ain't tripping right then.. You can't see the light until you've stood in the dark.. The psychedelics turn on a part of our brain that we normally can't access.. Take 5 grams of dried cubes, and then let's have a conversation about the light and the truth..

    SUMMARY:
The podcast discusses psychedelics and their potential therapeutic benefits. Dennis McKenna, a leading researcher in ethnopharmacology, is the guest. 🧪
McKenna co-founded ESPD 55, a conference marking the 55th anniversary of the original invitation-only ESPD conference in 1967 sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health to discuss psychedelic drugs. 🗓
Psychedelics like psilocybin, LSD and ayahuasca are showing promise in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD and more, but research was shut down in the 1960s-70s largely for political reasons under Nixon. 🚫
Recent research, like at Johns Hopkins, is rigorous and showing these substances are not addictive and can provide permanent relief for many conditions after just a few sessions, unlike daily antidepressants that just "numb" people. ✅
Psychedelics work by "rebooting" the brain, temporarily disabling the default mode network that filters consciousness and allows more information in, providing a new perspective. 🧠
Indigenous cultures have used plant medicines like peyote and ayahuasca for thousands of years but this knowledge has been suppressed and lost over time. Preserving this wisdom and bridging it with science is important. 🌱
Legalization is expanding but natural psychedelics like peyote need protection and stewardship by native cultures, not exploitation. Wellness centers integrating modern and traditional practices would provide greater access. 🙏
Key takeaways are think critically for yourself, have courage to explore psychedelics in proper set and setting, and be ready to surrender to the experience. ✌
