As a HUGE TWD fan (literally just watched The Ones Who Live Ep1) let me give you context on the throat bite. The Claimers (the old guy Rick bites was one of them) found Carl, Rick, and Michonne and were going to SA Michonne and Carl, starting with Carl first. Rick summed up the power of fatherhood to fatally bite that man hearing his son in distress and then proceeded to kill the bastard who was ontop of him. It is one of my FAVORITE Rick moments.
Also yes please part 3! There's some great injuries and deaths like Lori Grimes C-section, Denise, Morgan's slaying when he was clearing people both living and dead. Also yes what others have said, in TWDU EVERYONE carries what was dubbed by the CDC The Wildfire virus. It was confirmed to Rick by Dr. Edwin Jenner of the CDC way back in season 1 on the last episode and then revealed to his group in Season 2 episode 13 Beside the dying fire. "We're all infected." So basically if you had a patient in this apocalypse who died of a heart attack, they are going to come back as a walker. Unless severe head truama occured to the patient.

Love these twd reactions. In this franchise, water can be infected if a "walker" (zombie) touches it. Walkers also can remain functional if their head is cut off, but only their head, the rest of the body dies.
Umm in this franchise, everybody is infected. It doesn't matter what you do. If you die in any way you will come back as a walker unless you get shot in the head/brain destroyed at time of death. The CDC confirms that everyone's infected whent they leave the farm, but Rick learns when Shane dies and comes back straight away despite not being bitten before. Bites just give you a fever and speed up the process, giving you a higher amount of infection than your body can handle and you die and turn. But every single person is infected nontheless.

The part about the jugular vein is quite funny, when you think about it - often in zombie films, or any film with a humanoid creature that attacks by eating things, they tend to go after humans by biting them just above the shoulder, which is the exact spot where the circulation of the neck is best protected! While the major vessels are not protected by any bones, the muscles of the shoulder and lower neck do a pretty good job, as is the case with many animals; that's why if you watch big cats bringing down their prey, they don't bite them there, but instead go for the back of the neck just behind the head, or aim for the front of the neck and rip out the trachea - both areas are substantially more vulnerable.

I find it amazing how this man could be doing anything else with his time but instead he uses his skills and knowledge to educate us in the dorm of reaction videos. Absolutely amazing👏
So in the Walking Dead if a zombie bites someone they will eventually die and then become a zombie (walker). But if you can get the part that was bitten amputated in time it might save their life. The show has been both ways with how walker blood affects the living. Some times it is the same as a bite other times it hasn't done anything.
Also when Rick bit the guy in the neck you questioned if he would have the strength to do that well you didn't see what his motivation was in that situation. He definitely would have.
Everyone is also already infected so if they die by bleed out or non head damage they'd come back as well.

When I was in the military I got to work at Brooke Army Medical Center and WOW that’s an impressive hospital!
It’s the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the Department of Defense.
Even local hospitals send patients there when even a normal hospital cannot provide all the treatments and specialists required.
Serious burn victims in particular.

So if i remember correctly (been awhile since I watched it) in TWD, everyone, everywhere is already infected, when you die no matter the cause, you will turn. Getting bitten just causes an infection that kills you cause of the high temp it causes, which always made me wonder if TWD actually have 2 infections, the one everyone has that causes them to become zombies, and then another one, unique to the undead, that kills you if they bite you.

Ill explain cuz i didnt see anyone else do it i dont think but at 5:50 when you asked about the water and heads. Yes, water can carry the infection if zombie blood/guts are inside, so its best to not drink it. However, everyone is already infected and will turn no matter how they die. The zombies are still alive as just heads because the infection is in the brain and therefore a zombie will only fully die if their brain is punctured/beaten!
The walkers sickness is already on people, you just need to get bit by another walker or die from any cause if you dont damage the brain, the walkers just fell less pain and hunger.
Michonne's katana (the weapon used in the decapitation scene) is actually very sharp. However, it still took 3 strikes to completely sever the spinal cord. So that scene is still pretty accurate according to what you said as he used a sharp blade and multiple hits
Yep, a properly maintained katana is sharp enough to cut a grown man in half and that's why I'm always nervous watching tv shows/movies where idiots are playing with them like they're toys.

That first amputation scene takes place about 3 - 4 years into the outbreak, they have large communities to care for (about 500ish people total) and they were in away from most of them so the medications they were using were likely home made using what they could forage or grow
Starting off with Glenn’s death is insane💀 but Maggie and Beth’s reaction to their dad’s death was so sad.
Side note : 5:49 I don’t remember Michonne/the girl who grabbed the glass, getting an infection or a walker infection. I may have forgotten she did but I just remember her bleeding/hurt, no infection.
From my knowledge of the walking dead virus due to being airborne everyone is already infected however they only turn into a zombie or walker as they call them upon death when the virus reanimates the bare minimum aspects of the human brain and naturally due to the amount of bacteria in a literal rotting corpse upon being bitten or scratched the infection tends to be fatal for the individual even more so since antibiotics appear to be useless to stop said infection in the tv show spinoffs however recently people have been born that are immune to the airborne virus and the infection from the walker bite so it’s possible a future show will feature a cure finally being made to keep people from turning upon death

Doctor Wagner sir I am a combat medic in the US infantry so I like watching these because I was trained for combat situations and under gunfire so I like to see how u were trained differently sir thank u for ur service sir😊
I don't really watch The Walking Dead, but the guy attempting to decapitate the old man would really be made fun of if he's an executioner in the medival period. A badass executioner would decapitate someone clean, painless, and in one blow unless he was intending to torture the prisoner.

I'd actually like to see a breakdown of the flu arc from season 4 of this series. One of the most interesting arcs in terms of ideas and presentation, the likes of which were not even in the original comics.

The reason why they are infected is because when they die their brains still make them move and attack while thay aren't actually alive. That is why they have to stab the brain of the walkers

Everyone's infected already so it doesn't matter if a wound gets infected. This was proven in Season 2 when Shane dies without getting bitten. It's only when they die that they become a zombie, and a zombie bite just quickens their death.
I've had 2 sinus surgeries. The 1st one went perfectly, and the 2nd one i knew something was up. When i woke up, I remembered everything up to going out. I went home but everytime was sore except for my nose i went back to the ER the next day and they explained that something with the anesthetic went wrong and for the 2 hours i was out my body was fully cramped and when i woke up it released and i ended up with full body rhabdomyolysis and was in the hospital with constant fluids and i felt 10x better after 4 days but its had to explain what that feels like and this was the 1st video ive seen mention it

Brother, you had asked if there were pathogens inside the fish tanks that the governor had in the third season, where he collected the heads of his victims who he always says "died at the hands of the dead" and that coincidence, they suddenly gained intelligence and began to use rifles and apply strategies based on intelligence and logistics, basically the one who did not believe that was Michone, now that he can see those pathogens because there were heads of those zombies, well, I am quite surprised that Michone did not get infected....

So basically in the walking dead the walkers (zombies) can only be killed by stabbing, shooting or injuring the brain entirley and thats mainly why most of the series they aim or attack at the head

Yeah, the guy have Zombie Heads in Fish Tanks for some reason (I watch The Walking Dead for a long time so I kinda forget the plot, I know there names like Negan and Rick, there’s even a Spin off called Fear of The Walking Dead which is pretty much see the struggle on another family who already have a malfunction problem before The Apocalypse but then they slowly start becoming a family, before they got killed like flies until one or two of them lives)
The Daughter thought she the only one left (her “Step Father” got fall off a helicopter, her Brother got shot in the head by a little girl and she even thought her mum died by Zombies but then her mum is okay)

The reason why Rick (guy who bit the other guy's neck) bit it off is because if he didn't his son, bestfriend, and lover would've died so as in a last resort he bit his neck. Correct me if im wrong Doc but i think something is his brain just gave him the mental strength to go through with it because it was a life or death situation.
The only way for you to become a walker. Is if you get bit by a walker, unless you amputate the area that got bit. If you get scratched by a walker. You can also become a walker if you die of any other cause, yeah, you will become a walker if you die of natural or unnatural causes

The reason the heads are still alive is because the infection gets into the brain and it doesn't matter if it doesn't have the whole body, the head will still be alive

Actually, the heads are alive is because the infection is a disease and the brain so whenever you turn into a zombie, it’s the brain acting up so if you don’t hit the brain while trying to delete one of the zombies, it will stay alive until you hit the head

Sup Doc, The People inside TWD aint dying directly of the Wound/Bite like you can imagine. On the Scene 6:00 getting her bitten on the Face would prevent a Chance to save her as all those Wounds get Infected and youre going to Die because of a High Fever you cant prevent.

Well, the truth is, I don't have specific favorite scenes because I liked all the scenes, especially the battle in episode 4, but there are many medical lessons, but if you want, can you react to all the medical lessons from all the episodes of murder drone?
and there are many medical lessons that I think I will have to make a second part 😅
Cant wait for the new spin off. Just hope they keep all the spin offs shorter and dont drag it out too much; like they did did with the main show and first spin off.
