Hey man, thanks for watching, I think my mistake is it uses a Walkman rather than tape player, I thought it wouldn’t matter but I have a feeling it might, so an update may come soon lol,,cheers for watching buddy
Hey Chris, thanks for watching and for the message, I think you may be right about the plugging in to the figures, I think it’s purely to give the appearance the guitars are hooked up to the amp. But I think my mistake is the amp is to be used with a Walkman not a tape player, watch this space 👍
A most triumphant video, and you didn’t even need Eddie Van Halen. Excellent Action Figures. I never knew they made so many. Rufus and the car look super cool, it’s a shame it was never produced. The phone booth with all the figures would make an incredible display. 🤟🤩
Heyyyy Stevooooo!!! Great to see you here man. Yeah it’s a mega cool set, but as I’ve said in other comments, I think the amp is meant to be used with a Walkman not a tape player, so I may update this video in the future, but how cool is the car? So wish we got that bad boy. As always mate your support is hugely appreciated 👍🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hang your head in shame Luke, another line! 😂 Joking aside, these look great, and nice that you opened them up! I assume there was no instructions on how the speaker was supposed to work? (Along with how/why it's connected to the figures)
Hey Dez, lol I know, I’m so weak!!! 😂 So it appears the plug in figures could just be for show, but I think I need a Walkman not a tape play for the amp speaker, so watch this space, I may return with an update 😁👍 PS - the box was already opened so no seals were broken in the making of this video 😂😂
Morning Luke me buddy! Now these are outstanding and like yourself didn't realise they even existed. The 2 pack had to be bought and can't blame you for grabbing them 👍☕️🏴😎
Yoooo Stewie!!!! Yeah man I’m all over these now!!!! More bill and Ted to come on the channel!!! 😁, but love Bill and Ted , soon as I saw these I knew they had to come home with Reynolds lol. Thanks for always supporting the channel my friend 👍
These figures look great! They display nicely with their guitars. An interesting play feature too, I will have to investigate this further to find out why the figures have audio jacks. That's weird. Thanks for sharing dude!
Yo dude!!! After further investigation and info from viewers, it appears the audio jacks into the figures could well be purely for show to give the appearance of been hooked up to the amp, and I think my mistake was thinking the tape deck would work when I think the set is designed to be used with a Walkman, so I may do an update in the future 👍
Great review video Luke, even if it did end with an anti-climax! :) Apparently, Kenner also released the speaker and tape on a cardback, so that might be worth hunting down, to find a working example?
Hi Kieran, cheers man, ahhhhh now as it happens I may have the carded tape and amp set 😉, but can’t bring myself to open it lol, I think my mistake is I’m meant to use a Walkman with the amp not a tape player, and the plug in feature on the figures may just be for show to give the appearance they are hooked up to the amp 🤔 Watch this space 👍
Excellent!!! Wonder what the wires for the figures are? I'm intrigued now. It's possible no sound was actually getting to the speaker from the cassette player.... no way... yes way 😎Looking forward to the next adventure 🤘
Hey Dave, ok so it’s quite possible after speaking to another viewer that the wires into the back of the figures are purely for show to give the appearance the guitars are plugged into the amp (kinda makes sense) And I think my mistake was the amp is meant to be used with a Walkman not a tape player, I figured it would be the same difference, but not sure it is, watch this space, an update may be coming soon lol 👍
Hey Nate, ok so since the video I can explain lol, so the figures been hooked up is purely to give the appearance they are hooked up to the amp (as guitars would be, kinda makes sense) But the set itself is designed to be used with a Walkman not a tape player (I thought it would still work) so there may well be an update video on this soon 👍
Great set Luke, love those Bill and Ted figures and the play feature is great fun. Pity about the speaker… is there any kind of aux switch on the tape player to switch the music from that speaker to the external one? More figures I’d like to add to the collection 😊
Hey Scott, glad you enjoyed it man, would definitely recommend these. But I think it’s meant to be used with a Walkman not a tape player so gonna pick up a cheap Walkman and see if it works, watch this space 👍
This video was most excellent dude! I love these figures and I'm glad to see them represented in the Reynolds collection. I highly recommend the Grim Reaper with his skull guitar! I've not tested this myself as I don't have a tape player, but did you try squeezing their legs to activate the play feature while plugged in? Just a thought, cheers buddy, and party on dude!🎸🤘
Hey Scott, thanks for watching and influencing lol. So after further investigation and a few viewers getting in touch, it appears hooking the figures up is purely for show, to give the appearance of the guitars been hooked up to the amp, but I think my mistake with the speaker was that it’s designed to be used with a Walkman not a tape player, so there may be an update in the future 👍 And funny you mention the grim reaper figure , watch this space for more bill and Ted soon 👍 Always great to see you in the comments man 👍
Hey man, no audio jack in my phone, but as I’ve put in other comments, I think it’s designed to be used with a Walkman, so I think that’s my mistake 🤦♂️🤷🏻♂️😂
Hey dude!!! Cheers man, they are great figures and just a cool looking set, however, I think my mistake was using a tape player as I think it’s meant to be used with a Walkman, so I may update this video once I can find out . Thanks for watching pal 👍
Maybe it was designed to make the guys look like they were live on the amp🤔 but the speaker should be connected to the head phones jack so no sound should be heard from tape deck 🤔 may be jack plug is wrong size 🤔
Hey David, I actually think you may be right about the figures, I think hooking them up is purely for show. But as I’ve said in other comments, I think my mistake was using a tape player with the amp, as I think it’s designed to be used with a Walkman, I may update this video once I know 👍
These are really cool looking figures, How does the amp hook up to the cassette deck? I'm gonna ask but you didn't have it hooked up to a mic in and not a headphone out?
Most excellent!
lol cheers Delvian, glad you enjoyed it, appreciate the support 👍
Excellent Video Luke.
What wonderfully Products Luke
Thanks John! Yeah they are very cool and display great too 👍
I've stayed up all night for this Luke...... Nah I haven't lol
But
ANOTHER Toy Line :)
Love it
Awww and here a was thinking you were a committed viewer, how dare you have sleep 😂👍
These figures are so colorful! Very 80s!
I do think the look great, colours and design are great, but the pose looks weird without the guitars lol
Totally awesome dude! Shame the speaker didn’t work but still an awesome display piece and set my friend 👊🏻
Hey man, thanks for watching, I think my mistake is it uses a Walkman rather than tape player, I thought it wouldn’t matter but I have a feeling it might, so an update may come soon lol,,cheers for watching buddy
@@ReynoldsReviews ahhhh of course 🤦🏻♂️ tape player will play it naturally through its own speaker. Walkman doesn’t have speakers 😊👍🏻👍🏻
This is awesome. Love the movies en a big fan of Keanu's work. Cool you got the tape player at hand to play that actual tape. Excellent dude😎🎸🎶

Well I guess you were not be surprised anymore mate right??? And more new lines to come too 🤷🏻♂️😂

Great video Luke! You can almost hear Rachel weeping in the background!
Awww and I thought I’d edited her sobbing out 😂🤷🏻♂️
Wow, great video never seen these figures before 👍🏼
Hey cheers Kenny glad you enjoyed it, and happy I could show you something new to you 😊👍
Hey Luke Dude👋
These are Nardy🤘tbh I never knew they were a thing, so great find👌
Hey Craig!!!! Yeah man these are most triumphant lol. More to come too so keep an eye on the channel 👍
Thanks for watching as always man

Can't wait to see the Rufus figure.
Rufus is very cool, definitely more bill and Ted coming soon 😁👍
Awesome figures Luke! It’s a shame the mini amp didn’t work, I gotta know how it all works!! 😂 great video mate!
Hey Nate, ok so since the video I can explain lol, so the figures been hooked up is purely to give the appearance they are hooked up to the amp (as guitars would be, kinda makes sense)

@ReynoldsReviews makes sense as it would plug in the headphone socket

@ReynoldsReviews yeah is possible it needs something with an output in stereo for the whole thing to work. You'll have to find a cheap Walkman 😜
@@littledavevader already on it lol
I'm surprised the tape works! Too bad about the Amp. Daaaaaaave!
lol I don’t think Dave is needed on this one, I think it’s designed to be used either a Walkman not a tape player, so possible update video coming 👍
Is it a shame Luke?
lol yes it is Mark, did I make that clear enough??? 😂🤦♂️
