I am not kidding... Uniek brings on the tears when I watch her. Knowing that she is so special, a sweetheart and just adorable. Rein is quite the gentleman and growing taller. He's so cute. When he rides Uniek, I get the impression that she is taking care of Rein, "no worries Rein, I got this, you're safe with me". She is so gentle. She IS special. I just love her.

I was dying laughing at the look on Unieks face when Rein Jr was struggling to get that halter on and getting it hung up on her nose. And then even when he did ; the state of her forelock. She looked at Yvonne like Are you going to let him leave me like this? 🤣

Neighbor Rein is growing into quite a nice, composed, young man. He deserves an award for bravery and determination. Not only did he continue his efforts until he succeeded in capturing the uncooperative Queen; but, he managed to control her powerful movements well enough to have a quite beautiful ride in the arena.
Goedzo!, Neighbor Rein! You are an excellent horseman for your young age! Keep up your good work, and I'm certain that in a few years, we can watch YOU riding in future competitions.
I think Uniek likes to have fun with tiny humans. Yvonne included. The look when she has the halter half on is precious!

Yes. She knows exactly what she is doing. She seems to lower her head to Faya all the time. And she is always so careful and still when Faya or Yvonne's sons are nearby or on her back. Uniek definitely was not cooperating with Rein. Just a little mischief maybe. Was she demonstrating her sense of humor? 😄

Beautiful Queen Uniek she is so patient and steady when it comes to the kids doing things with her a wonderful teacher for them and so sweet as always. Rein Jr is such a handsome young man so kind to the herd and an excellent rider of course that’s easy because he’s learning from the best horsewoman there is.❤️❤️👑👑🐎🐎

Rein, that was an awesome job of haltering! I remember in earlier video, that with Faya, Uniek lowered her head. Horses sense how able you are, and act in surprising ways. I remember as a young girl how many dangerous things I did and the "lesson" horses protected me. The better I got with horsemanship the more they challenged me. Take it as a compliment Rein!
That is the cutest puzzle. Rein is such a sweet young man. I loved seeing how Uniek reacts to him. The halter application was hysterical.💜

Why do I keep “seeing” a future when Rein Jr., Yvonne’s Rein & Teije as young men are running alongside the Friesians at keurings, as well as when older show driving & riding dressage? Rein Jr. has already ridden & driven and he’s not yet a teenager! Queen Uniek is so well trained & calm. She’s excellent for a beginner. Rein already handles her well! Maybe one of Yvonne’s boys will ride RS at the Olympics! 🥰💙💙💙
The Olympic organizers would have to build an entire grandstand!!!

@@LindaEll89 Thanks for the cultural information, Linda! Here in the US, Rein Jr. would be a “pre-teen.” Teenage years begin when “teen” is added to the counting sequence, e.g., “age thirteen and through age nineteen.”
Uniek's messy forelock plus the look on her face after Rein gets the headcollar on is hilarious.
She had a look like, "Okay kid. You got it on me. (Insert horsey sigh) Just wait until you try next time, though.
Rein Jr. rides very well! I've noticed both Unique and Reintje (when they come back into the stable) always stop to eat the hay of other horses, like saying "Hello! I am back." :) Thank you for sharing bits of your wonderful life with us. It is really good and relaxing to watch. *Blessed Be and Stay Well!*

Uniek was definitely being intentional, moving her head that way. Good job, Rein, for beating her at her game! Reintje is such a magnificent mare. I love watching her practice her moves. Someday I'd love to see an actual test again, if cameras are allowed.
Uneik and Reintje are both exceptional horses. I have noticed before that Reintje is higher in the legs ( now anyway) and the Queen is higher in the neck. Of course, she is the Queen after all, and always keeps her head held high. Even when patiently working with the younger generation, lol! Great perseverance Rein, jr, and excellent riding skills!

Oh my gosh, Rein trying to get the halter on Uniek was hilarious. It cracked me up every time the noseband got caught on her muzzle and pulled her lip and nostrils up. Then her forelock after it was on! Too funny! I love the puzzle Rein received. What a nice gift. Reintje is getting better and better. Congratulations on 209.5 and 2 winning points! I wish I could read the judge's comments; they're always so informative and helpful. You received some 7's! Dressage is hard work especially when you're pregnant. Goedzo Reintje & Yvonne! I am so happy neighbor Rein received a present!! I think it would be nice to see his shirt size and the top sizes for the Staff's children. It would be fun for them to receive tee shirts from around the globe. There must be a conversion chart from sizes in the Netherlands to whatever country we live in.

That was nice, you got 206 points. Uniek so beautiful when she moves! Ah, the mice, hope you put pellets in a dry container with a tight lid. And make sure other's who open the lid put it right back on. This might help cut down the field mice eating the horses treats.

A couple of ferrets would really do a great job on the mouse population as well, and they would stay inside the barn and not get out into the road traffic.
