Sensorimotor lab

imagine that you're a professional soccer player: you're sprinting in top speed, dribbling with the ball on your feet and then at the right time you kick the ball with either your left or your right foot. This is perception, perceiving, and acting in motion and that's what we study in the sensorimotor lab.
Welcome to the Sensorimotor Research Lab which is part of the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour at the Radboud University Nijmegen, and housed within the Donders Centre for Cognition. Our main focus is on how sensory information is transformed into spatial representations and motor actions and how different spatial and motor representations are updated and/or maintained during self-motion.
