- James St. James visited RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 winner Sharon Needles in her West Hollywood hotel room before her album release party at Rasputin last weekend, and got to have a private listening party to hear some of her favorite tracks from her new album PG-13, which is currently #4 on the iTunes pop charts. With wowlebrities Mathu Andersen and Chanel Perrillo also present for the fun, James and Sharon listen to tracks such as the first single "This Club is a Haunted House" (with a cameo by RuPaul), "I Wish I Were Amanda Lepore" (with a cameo by Amanda Lepore), "Call Me on the Ouija Board," "Drink Till I Die," "Hail Satan!" (with a cameo by Jayne County), and "Everyday is Halloween," which features the legendary Armen Ra on the theremin. Sharon spills the T with fascinating insights and stories about each song, and a spot-on impression of Amanda Lepore. PG-13 is now available on iTunes and Amazon.

James St. James is my favorite interviewer on dailyfreakshow. James is funny and he has a wonderful honesty about him or at least gives the illusion of great honesty. I love his erratic microphone style too b/c it lends to the honesty factor and shows that he is just there hanging out with people and having more of an interesting conversation opposed to a more conventional interview format. James also has great party ethics. More James St. James PLEASE!
People that don't know James St. James SMH, he is the author of Party Monster, he is the reason there is a movie, Party Monster, he & Michael Alig are the reason there was a club kid scene, Hell I'm a straight woman & I know this shit!
I grew up in the Pittsburgh punk scene on south side and although I have yet to meet Sharon, I feel like I've known her my whole life. she brings back many amazing moments I've had just by hearing her speak and how she carries herself. GG Allen being one of her favorites in life, hits me in the feels.

Holy shit, that was the make up artist that was dressed as a newsie on season 2 during the wedding episode! Haha, he looks so different but his voice/accent is unmistakable. He looks awesome with that facial hair and make up

I don't think Ru would be nothing - as she is not one dimensional completely reliant on looks alone. He has contributed to Ru's success - it is very easy to claim Godlike responsibility over another's success, but if Ru failed to succeed - she would not be blaming her make up artist as there were other facets to her personality and performance.

Without him Rupaul would be nothing! He's doen Ru's hair/makeup since the Supermodel single. When you see old vids/pics of Rupaul you can see that he isn't good at makeup whereas Mathu Anderson is incrediby talented. His ex boyf Zaldy Goco does all Ru's dresses.

I am becoming tired of Sharon, she is rather 2 dimensional. She was great in her season & how she took it to another level - but she has done it now.

There is more to out struggle, our entertainment than comedy queens, & drag shows - we have all contributed in some way.
Alaska, season 2 of All Stars recent appearance on Hey Qween was just bull shit. After success they expect the adoration, the applause, but when you push through what they are saying, it is the same over & over again.
Long may RPDR continue, but each person contributing to society in the name of LGBT - James, Ru, Dockyard Doris, Jimmy Slater, Michelle DuBarry, Betty Legs Diamond - ours is a history to be shared & to be proud of - drag has been & will go on.
The LGBT community has a history of which we should be proud.
I was commenting on Sharon's performance & if you compared the history between the two, Mr St. James would have been for more interesting to hear from than watching this.
The children need to be told.
There was no need to come for me - we have enough shit to deal with with the rest of the world come for us.
We are a global family & should show respect & love for each other.
