Have you considered a cooling vest. Just soak it in water and wear it under under your vented m/c jacket. It is how we ride in the heat here in Arizona , USA.

Here in Thailand we are still suffering from heat, although rainy season has started, things are cooler. Re your cooling jacket, I discovered my camel water bag which I normally wear outside my jacket, I moved to inside and poured ice cubes into the inside pocket, just against my shirt. Only when I stopped at a local coffee shop the girls got the giggles looking at the water puddle below my seat like I had peed myself!!!!

The further north you go, the temperature will be better, for example in the Tabuk area and its environs. You should also be careful if you want to sleep outside. There are wolves in the north of the Kingdom, starting 200 kilometers before Al-Ula and up to the Saudi border.
Camels are old world camels and new world camels. New world camels (Lamas, Guanacos and so on) in South America have no humbs. The old world camel with the two humbs is the Bactrian Camel. You find it in Asia mainly in the parts with cold winter (Mongolia, Stan-Countries and so on). The old world camel with one humb (also called Dromedar) you find mainly in Arabia and Northern Africa (and as feral in Australia). There is no wild form of the camel with the one humb (there is a wild form of the Bactrian Camel but the population is endangered). try to visit the southern cities like abha and asir the weather is much better in these areas , all the cities in my country are lovely but nowadys the wether is quite hot, and good luck in your trip. 🤍🇸🇦

I think I saw some of your posts in the women’s groups but I just want to point out that women in general do not have to wear niqab, hijab, or abaya.. whether they are locals or tourists, as long as you dress modestly. Only point this out because the way it was phrased it here made it seem as only tourist are exempt from covering. I hope you enjoyed your trip.
The further north you go, the temperature will be better, for example in the Tabuk area and its environs.
You should also be careful if you want to sleep outside. There are wolves in the north of the Kingdom, starting 200 kilometers before Al-Ula and up to the Saudi border.
Camels are old world camels and new world camels. New world camels (Lamas, Guanacos and so on) in South America have no humbs. The old world camel with the two humbs is the Bactrian Camel. You find it in Asia mainly in the parts with cold winter (Mongolia, Stan-Countries and so on). The old world camel with one humb (also called Dromedar) you find mainly in Arabia and Northern Africa (and as feral in Australia). There is no wild form of the camel with the one humb (there is a wild form of the Bactrian Camel but the population is endangered). There are also cross breed between the Bactrian Camel and the camel with one humb (they have then one humb but it is elongated). All camels are really cool animals. Depends when it happens, in the night the camel farmer pay for it and daytime the other way around.
