- The third and final live video from our gig at the Village in Brighton for boutique record label The Folkroom on 23rd May 2019, "La Grippe" is a seasonal lament that everyone can relate to. It may or may not have been inspired by catching a cold on the way to the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band's 40th anniversary gig at the Astoria some years back...

Why isnt this more popular it BANGS!!?? Its the only song that i can never get sick of no matter how much i play it! everytime i cant help but imagine a scrawny man singing his heart out to a pudgy big rich lady dressed in warm luxurious 50s attire staring down menacingly at him. She lures everyone to her deadly "tea party" playing nice, no one knowing its her doing until he figures it out and confronts her about it on a cold chilling night. Astonishing work keep it up

Funny. Listened to this for the first time on the EP last night and thought you had probably been inspired by the Bonzos. So nice to find I was right!

@@RinglefinchUK Thought so. Love it. You folks ought to apply for an official showcase for Folk Alliance International when they open applications in September. I can't imagine that you wouldn't make the cut and it's an incredible showcase for getting international bookings that plenty of UK folks have done. Would love to see you be able to play here in San Francisco area some time, once travel is easier again.
