Many trust in kings and queens whose names we could recall.
We put them high on pedestals, we watch them rise and fall.
But I'll not trust in flesh and blood, mere men who cannot save.

But there is One from Heaven's throne who died that I might live.
What things were gain I now forsake and lose that I might win!
For the cause of Christ, I will live my life.
