I hope this kind of music comes back into fashion one day, it reminds me of driving along in a soft top fast sportscar along the coast of Los Angeles while looking at the crisp blue water and the bright sunny sky. Love in my heart for this song.
This music evolved from Burnout 2 to Burnout 3. But you only briefly heard the new car unlock. Later, this music was transferred to Burnout Paradise with its version in Burnout 3.
Next Burnout game could have musical score similar to many games but with this and more songs composed the person that composed this, boosting would make it turn more upbeat, and maybe the more damaged the player's vehicle in takedown mode the more downbeat it gets maybe? Just an idea I thought could be cool, also radio stations like in Gta games? Again, it's just an idea I thought of.
Just for the record, the only reason the original track starts 'awkward' is because it's supposed to go with the 'burnout' power-up which is impossible to get at the start of a race. I prefer the original, but either is fine.

I was thinking of Big Sur, California.
To me, this is the final resting song for Burnout. Rest in Peace to one of, if not the best, racing game series of the 2000's.
Dad - Why tf you crying so damn hard this is just generic music
Me - You wouldn’t get it
I listen to this soundtrack while I play Rocket League and it's awesome. Highly recommend it.
My Childhood 😭😭😭
This and A Photograph have to be my most favorite tracks on Burnout 2. Second being the Crystal Summit song.
I only played this level 1000's of times simply because of this track. Learned it on piano and then transferred to guitar
Do you have the tabs? I would love to learn this on guitar. Is it just a few simple chords?

Such a great song
cool (sorry for bad english)
I’ve never played the game as a kid, and I like it’s soundtrack regardless.
Epic music , it dose not get better than this.
nitro fueled kazoos for the win

I played the shit out of this game growing up. Such a good game it’s actually nuts how good it is.
Early '00s vibes ✨️ 😊
Thank you for this man
Demo disc boys ww@, I played that summer course more than the total time I spent on the game after I bought it.
Can someone please get this playlist to spotify. I'll pay you in... stuff.
AI passes by I pass by before the finish.
fun fact: this picture was taken on interstate loop track in a discarded zone
And has a tow truck from the first game, afaik it’s never in traffic
@@CryptidBuddy oh hell I never noticed that.... this game had such unfinished contents... hope they'll come for a remastered with extra contents
oh, the intro isn't awkward in this!

@@KnownAsKenji Is that the boost start that seems oddly difficult to do? It's like, hold brake and feather the throttle or something?
@@AryzenI You have to time it right before it says go. If you do it right the boost sound will play
is that a kazoo
If it is, it's the most badass kazoo I've ever heard.
Why
Boost x78
Dammit guys, you ruined this song to me with the kazoo jokes
It's there and it kicks ass and it always did. You're just gonna have to deal with it.
Burnout 2 soundtrack was lame for me
Ok zoomer.
