I'm glad that I don't have to put all of those groceries away. I do know how it feels though. When I do my regular shopping trip the beginning of the month, my kitchen floor looks like it did there when you opened the door.

I went to Walmart today. I was planning on spending $60.00 but I went over and spent $81.00. I didn't even get any meat. The prices of food is getting totally ridiculous. I wasn't even able to get half of what was on my list. Guess I'll have to wait until next month. I'm 71 and I live on my Social Security which is the minimum amount that they allow because I wasn't able to work the last 11 years due to a disability. I just thank God that I'm able to get what I do.
Oh no! Yes, I agree the grocery prices are insane! I don’t know how they expect for us to live. Have you tried your local food pantries? They will help you with groceries during those months you are having hard times. That has surely helped us whenever we were in need.🫶🏾
I totally understand. Every time I go to the grocery store I go over my budget. Food is so expensive. Yes, as Ms. Roshonda said go to the local food pantries and box giveaways. You can piece meals together that way. Also, I've been looking at different channels to get cheap meal ideas. I wish nothing but blessings to you!
