We took permission from District administration of Rudraprayag. Stay Support we arranged through NIM, who is working there, even in winter, on Kedarnath reconstruction. I knew those people there as I am a native of that place . This year, I think NIM is not working there in winter.
December to march Kedarnath temple is closed. But I want to go in January. Can I go in January? Will the room be available at this time in kedarnath? How to get permission to travel in January?
You can go in Dec and Jan, if you have your own arrangement of stay there. No rooms available in winter. You need permission from collector office to go there in winter, as we did.
It was a natural calamity on unimaginable destruction levels. Kindly don't blame the place. Things like these are unavoidable as humans what we could do is to restore the shrine and get it going for devotees across the world.

Hi Abhishek, temple would be closed until mid of May. We made our own arrangements for stay. You will not find any lodges open in Kedadarnath, however you may stay with people who are working on reconstruction of Kedadarnath during winter. You go to Sonprayag and ask local people if you can get a day stay in Kedadarnath.
Agr aapko sirf snow k liye Jana hai then go somewhere else u can go shimla and wherever u want but dont say ki u want to go Kedarnath jee only for snow. R u out of your mind bhagwan jee se koi mltb nhi sirf snow k lia😡
