Change your wind up to a player that had a knuckle ball as their primary pitch like Nierko, Wakefield, Dickey etc.
A big part of Slider's problems, especially strikeouts, is that 3 of your pitches are basically the same speed with basically the same break, at least right now. The knuckleball is the only one that's slow and has movement. If you throw your higher velocity pitches in a row without adding the knuckleball to the mix, then they're going to make contact.
Nothing will save you as you constantly rely on two pitches throw 3 pitches in a row in the same spot but you just make excuses

You have to have at least a couple of control perks on your pitches. Even when you do make a perfect pitch, it still strays a fair bit. Control helps that. Mix up your location more and use ALL of your pitches. NEVER use the same pitch more than twice in a row regardless of location or count especially with your low 70s rating in the MLB. Also, don't be afraid to deliberately target outside the strike zone more here and there with your mix of pitches. At least 90-95% of your pitches are thrown directly in the strike zone or trying to hit the corners/edges. The AI picks up on the fact that you almost always throw down the pipe, and it's making you pay.
A high sinker has never been a good idea ever in life...
Mighty, your Velo is only in the mid 80's try to increase the Velo so you are getting more speed out of the 4seam and Sinker then hit them with the slider, cutter and knuckle balls. Pitching at the lower speed makes it easier to read the pitches. Just my thoughts bro.

Love the series mighty, I only pitch on my rtts and I do it on legend too. I recommend switching up what you throw a lot, the cpus are programmed to pick up on your pitching tendencies on legend.
@Mighty Goat, you e been having problems with your slider because you stopped throwing it outside to righties. Halfway through your video, I noticed that you only threw 1 outside slider. I would also throw the slider inside to lefties.
With 2 strikes start your pitch more on the corner to break outside. Get them to chase not try to always get a strike call
for me, I go through the list. I throw one for each batter and I don’t throw the same every time

A knuckle ball up is never a good pitch. Use a knuckle ball as a 2 strike pitch but start it around the middle
