- This is mainly jacking and supporting the truck because it needs to go
pretty high and there will be no support under the truck at all if there is a jack failure since the springs will be coming off.
Part 2 has the removal and install of the new springs.
Tall jack stands 10 ton each www.amazon.com...
Tall bottle jack www.harborfrei...
20 ton jack would lift your front end from harbor frt. Then you youse blocks of wood to safe
Omg, what did you hit! Never seen that before.
Don't know when it happened, just started to hear the clanking when going over bumps slowly. It probably developed a crack that slowly started moving across until it fell off.
@@57bagre Yeah, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Bet that was annoyance. But lucky your a master of all trades so to say. By the way props on the truck. Got my license in one of those. Going to buy one eventually, just because.
One regular 20 ton bottlejack and a few 6X6 wood cut off blocks are all it takes.....
Yes,Thats how I did mine, But I dont think Gordon can do it that way......He doesnt have a meaty spot in the center-No Thick Crossmember for support
What did you use to torque the ubolts
Truck probably rides like a pogo stick now with new springs lol. Back busting work changing springs.
We'll see today, I got a lot of local dispatched on me.

I bought those when I bought my 93 FLD, I've had the rear in the air and the front in the air several times with them, for weeks at a time on gravel. They're worth every penny, and reach up far beyond the bottom of the frame rail. I'd recommend undoubtedly.
Do you have a oil pan gasket video??
I hope this helps. ua-cam.com/video/VoPLPSIDPCk/v-deo.html
