- This is the seventeenth good Doom WAD quadruple feature we did, and both of these WADs were requested by a viewer of mine. This pair of WADs is pretty cool, as they're both over 20 years old.

Cribbing Trinity's textures isn't horrible unless the authors restricted their use. They looked great on Lookout, a "'94" map that plays far better than many modern levels. I like how its keys let you access things in different orders depending on order of acquisition. That's very loose and almost unheard of in modern maps. I imagine security clearance accesses the armories or medical bays, not a stupid succession of doors along one cargo passage.
Most levels restrict you to getting keys in a linear order, or having three self-contained adventures with no bleed-through of chambers between them, culminating in the opening of one big mega-door. Which brings us to AT. AT's defining features--pitched keycard gimmick traps leading up to a massive teleport ruckus with lots of legroom--provide very tricky play. I say its inclusion in the Top 100 is overshooting it. Why? There's only one level!
Post-Script: Edit your Description so it says, "Good Doom WAD DOUBLE Feature", not Quadruple.

Never heard of Lookout before, but I've seen AT and it is definitely a decent old map, if perhaps a bit easy, by a mapper who would go on to make most of Alien Vendetta's techbase levels. Nice showcase as usual 😀
