I'm a 72 yr old white boy that was born 100 yrs too late. I love pow wows. I especially love watching the younger children and the little ones dance in their regalia. It does my heart good to see them carrying on their ancestral heritage. I just hope that they speak, and listen, to the old ones to learn any of their stories. They are the only ones left to pass those stories down to those who will listen.

Magnificent in every way. I hope one day, all Native Americans, get their history back in full from those who took away and decided that something else was better...it wasn't. Give these terrific people their HISTORY back- in total. WE owe them that and more. Peace to all Native American people. 👍☀️☀️
❤❤ Our dancing, singing and in general attending powwows is healing from the effects of colonization, from america to canada we are proud to celebrate our roots as it's no longer illegal for our men to have long hair or for us to dance powwow.
Thank you for sharing. It was magnificent. I am not an American Indian, but I love everything about your people. If I had the money, I would visit every Pow-Wow in the United States. That would keep me busy. The very best to all of you. God bless you all and Thank you for sharing a tiny part of your world with us.
Beautiful thank you 🙏🕊 Love the handmade regalias 👏. Even though I'm French I always go to powwows when I'm in the US crying with the drums of the "Grand Entry". They are touching my soul. I've been doing this since I was a kid 🌟🕊
I'm proud to be Native American, my heritage is mine. My mother taught me that no one can never take away who I am. I pray to my father for peace of our ancestors. That one day we will all stand together as brothers and sisters. Our ancestors died for a reason, Together we are strong divided we fall. Wado
The Native Americans had a raw deal from white peoples who took their land. I love watching the dances from the different native Americans. Please keep your rich culture
From the Aztecs, Incas, Mayas, Crows, Toltecs, Tarahumaras, Yaqui, Lakota, from North America Central America South America we are one People's Native America we are the original People's of these Lands!
Videotaped at Yavapai-Apache Nation Camp Verde, Arizona one hot summer day in July, 2010 by a visiting film maker...Yes, the pow-wow took place on the Yavapai-Apache Nation at the Casino Stargazer amphitheater and I suppose it was sort of an "Apache Pow-Wow" but more like a pan-Indianism gathering of various tribes dressing up like northern plains Indian. But, still a great occasion to celebrate Indian America regardless of where the dancers came from...Thanks Terry for doing a great job on the editing of the show.
Dressed in full regalia on a hot summers day might knock the wind out of some and spend less time on their legs dancing. A special thanks from Australia for that. We need drummers here right now for the freedom convoy :) I like the colourful woven threads and big eagle feathers too. Irishman in Ireland looking in. Always admired many aspects of Native American culture. Shame on what the white man did to you, including some Irishmen. You're culture has a great regard for nature as had irish culture. Mother earth and how you respect and revere it. You have a great contribution to make in the ailing modern world. Destroying nature as mankind is doing, will finish us. Maybe you as a people can influence change with your fellow devotees across the world. Slan go foill( goodbye for now). I love my Mother Earth and my Father Sky and I honor them with my good deeds and my compassion towards all that is. This music and the dancing reminds me to be the caretaker of all life. I am loving you, who read this,ah ho.

Indians have been in North America for ten thousand years. Supposedly the "music", costumes, dances, and "vocals" in this video are the same as from that time ago. During one tenth of that time Europeans came up with myriad forms of technology, art, literature, transportation, mathematics, manufacture, music, politics, weapons, materials, and communications. Of course European dances didn't use nearly as many bird feathers, so I'll give credit there.
