Recorded live in the studio without overdubs, relying on raw power and a go for broke attitude, Split the Sun take on us a journey that charts musical territory ranging from the heartfelt trip of “Hydra” to the titanic assault of “The Conquest of Pluto” and everything in between.

Damn! I gotta go to Australia and check these guys out. This band is hott. I notice there’s a lot of excellent stoner/psych stuff coming out from down under. I’m hooked. I can’t think of anything better to do while on quarantine than listen to some trippy psych, this band delivers. This Friday, May 01, 2020, Bandcamp is giving all 100% of proceeds to all the bands that have orders that day. I know I’m ordering Split The Sun this Friday. Hey everybody, we need to support these bands.

This has become of of my favorites from 2020 so far.
Yeah, one of my faves for 2020 also. Slift - Ummon, Yuri Gagarin - The Outskirts of Reality, Heavy Trip - Heavy Trip, Spacelords - Space Flowers, and others as well. So much incredible stoner-psych-space music released this year.

Yes Tuber they are pretty damn good!
Some of the songs remind of Tool at times. But with a thousand times less filler.
Very good rhythm section, but that guitar player unless this is his solo release has to learn to let the songs breath and let hes band actuate as well... too much of diididuudiiiduuu.... cut 40% off and incorporate some guitar harmonies or so instead of constant leads and it´l be fine....
Maybe if there was singer the guitarist should do more melodic but what he do now suit , bravo very good band & album

@@M.S-Music i bought this album and ask some questions. And bass player told me songs all live recorded with no click to tracks. Last song is a jam played on spot
This is exactly how an instrumental song should be structured. Great bass and drums and overall guitar work with the lead guitar guitar totally replacing the vocals and leading the listener to an ever changing and melodic groove that is a goose bump producing blast ! Works for me !
Great music. But without vocals and lyrics its just NOT that good.

@@socratessampsonidis5453 I just thing without lyrics and vocals its boring. Song is nothing more than a carrier of information and emotion. INformation is carried by lyrics. Emotion is carried by lyrics and music. You take one away - and its just not as good without another.
