In this video, Ro is joined by Tammy. She has a small forehead and a low hairline and is eager to find wigs that will create the illusion of a higher forehead. Ro gives tips on what to look for in a wig, and shows examples of what does and doesn't work. She says that in order to create the look of a higher forehead, it's best to wear a side part with a little lift and a longer bang. They will try on over 10 wig styles and together figure out what works best for Tammy. This is a transformation you won't want to miss!

Cristi in Chocolate Frost really hides the short forehead and takes away the focus on her long chin. It gives her a complete oval shaped head. The color is perfect for her fair toned colored skin. I think that she picked the perfect-for-her wig in Christi in Chocolate Frost. Not only did it give the illusion of a 'regular' forehead/hairline, but it just flatters her so much! She glows and isn't that what's it all about?

Quinn, and Christi (one of my own fave shorties) are certainly both the BEST choices for Tammy. I'm rather surprised, really. I've never seen someone who really does not look good in longer the longer wigs. However, the shorter wigs really love her face. She shines in them. If I had the same situation I think I'd look into permanent hair removal to bring my forehead into proportion. I believe the wigs would look better, and I think she'd find a wider range of hairstyles. It's ironic that at an age where the rest of us are grappling with hair thinning, Tammy is blessed (read that irony here) with too much! At present, I must say she rocks both Quinn and Christi. I hope she gets herself a wardrobe of them in lots of colors to choose from. What a charming lady!
BTW, Ro; I happened to pause the video at exactly 28:25. Your hand is obscuring the lower part of your face and your eyes are highlighted. The look is so dramatic. I always loved your bright eyed, eager look, but this is an entirely different Ro. This Ro is majestic, mysterious, wise, and and stunning! I hope some others try it and if they see what I see.

Wow, she has so much hair of her own! Quinn is so good on her. Good color and I like the highlights. Cristi too - the highlights make a difference in chocolate frost - better than the sandy silver. So glad she is getting both! I like Cristi the best:) Don't flatten it! Looks great high and tall on Tammy. I am wondering if she could also side swoop her own bangs to make a difference without a wig? Having darker eyebrows makes a difference too! Enjoy Tammy!

Amazing, now i understand why the mono topper didn't work well with me, I have a short forehead and the mono top didn't look right, made my head flat, I have the teased topper which works perfectly. I have the Taylor topper and it looks better when I put it a little bit back not exactly on the hairline but I struggle to keep the fringe on place as my hairline is thin. Thank you again for the info. I we ill use your tips in my next wear.

I have trimmed some wigs into a topper leaving extra wefts. I put extra clips in the sides and back to help secure the topper so there is less pressure on the front and the topper is more secure that way. I used to struggle with keeping a topper on, also. Now I can hardly feel the topper when I wear it. Danielle has a video on trimming a wig into a topper. Leaving the extra wefts makes all the difference and a wig trimmed into a topper can give extra coverage in the back, too. I buy a wig that’s a little longer because a little length is lost during the process.

Can you show us wigs that are less dense and more appropriate for those over 60, please? I have never had thick hair, and now that it's thinned quite a bit, I would like to try a wig as topper hairlines aren't working well any more. But I need a low density style, mid length. Thanks.
