I received my chairs from you guys last Monday. They are awesome! Everyone loves them. I'll have to order another set....maybe for mother's day!
Great instructions that really helped. I bought my webbing from Lawn Chair USA. Great colors. Rewebbing has been quite a laborious job but well worth it. My Rio lawn chairs seat and backs are slightly bowe shaped, so measuring each strap was necessary.
Wow! Very well done video!!!! Très bien fait et pédagogique!
The first video that was very helpful, thank you
Be sure to measure each strap, don't assume they are all the same length. My lawn chair is quite old with wood armrests and the back has a bow to it so some straps needed to be longer. I had to make smaller triangles at the ends to get them to fit.
Yeah I noticed that when I was re-webbing one of my old chairs. I have 4 aluminum style chairs and all the webbing is shot and is in need of replacing. One down 3 to go.
At 1:55 there is an error in this video. When using the screws it shows pushing the screw through the folded webbing from the folded side. Then it shows attaching the screw to the frame and the screw head is now on the opposite side. Make sure the screw goes in from the opposite side of the folds.
i leave the old ones on, and remove only one at a time, take the measurement from the old one, and then cut, and using a hole punch on the new web material
How do I remove the clips that have that folded metal looking thing with out damaging the frame ?
are clip and screw holes the same size on newer chairs
Have you ever used webbing to replace vinyl strap? Is it a feasible option?
Can somebody explain how to remove the clips first!
The best way to remove the clip is to cut the webbing. You can remove the clip without doing this, however since they work off the tension of the webbing, it is difficult.
@@lawnchairusa9574 thank you! After trying to find a demo on this procedure I figured out that was it! Cut the webbing!
A pop rivet would work better. Their like $10 at harbor freight with pop rivets
Thank you for your opinion, but please do not do this with our chairs. This is not the proper way to reweb the chairs.
Thank You

Where can I buy this type of webbing?
We sell may different sizes and colors on our website. www.lawnchairusa.com/
The links don't work. So, I had to buy through walmart. I hope the seller is still the same.
Edit: my beach chair has no holes for screws. I will wrap around and maybe stitch the ends with thread.
I keep my fingers crossed.
Hello, I am sorry you are having difficulties. I just checked and all the links work for us. We do sell also sell on Amazon and Walmart. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
How to buy this chair in India?
My lawn chair needs to be rewebbed. The current webbing is 2 1/4 inches wide. Can I use 3 inch webbing instead or do I have to stick with 2 1/4 inch webbing?
Also, how much webbing do I need for a chaise lounge chair?
Were you able to get 3 inch webbing to work? I was curious because I have 2 packages of 3 inch webbing. I just bought 2-1/4 inch webbing today and I just read your comment. So i'm curious of your results if you happen to use 3 inch webbing.
@@thinkingimpaired5663 Hi! I love your kitty cat! I had no problem using the 3 inch webbing. I did a chaise lounge. Came out perfectly. Then, my daughter decided she wanted a hammock. :)
@@JaneDoe-vi5yc thanks! That's my little boy cat he loves to fetch too. I'm glad that you were able to use the 3 inch webbing.
I figured all of this out prior to finding your video. What I really want to know is ... how do you get the webbing as tight as possible? You didn't give any hints about how to do that. Help!
