I def get how frustrating it is when you don't get healed, but as a support main...WE HAVE AN ENTIRE TEAM TO KEEP ALIVE AS WELL. Its more frustrating when dps or tanks run out into unwinnable battles and expect us to follow them into the pits of hell
Nah as a dps main it was 100% on that genji 21 deaths is outrageous to be blaming supps if he was 15 or so deaths then it'd be believable that supps were just focused on the widow and tank but 21 is fully on him. I've definitely had games where my mercy only heal bots the other dps and our other supp will only heal the tank its difficult but I usually just switch to soldier for self heals or play next to health packs

They had an ana. You do not need mercys extra healing to survive. He's playing two heroes who are very bad on junkertown.
And you saw what kenzo was doing to the other teams mercy for being in the open. Why would their mercy risk that when she could just dmg boost the hitscan that is strong on the hitscan map.
@albrt13iva some people just can't admit they have bad games and make mistakes. Whenever I have bad games whether it just be I'm tired from work and I'm not clicking with my team. I'm straight up with my team and try talking through my thought process even if people aren't talking they can usually hear me and will follow me up and clean up what I screw up. When everyone is chill ill still win games thanks to people carrying me. It's when you get one person who thinks they don't belong in the rank that you lose.
@lostxnxyou that and a dmg boosted widow is the better option Over a dmg boosted genji especially when they have a widow on the enemy team. Unless that genji is completely destroying the enemy team dmg boosting the widow increases her range and the percentage needed for a 1 shot allowing for faster kills and less abilities to be spent by your team. And with needing less charge on widow you're able to unscope more allowing for more mobility and able to destroy tanks.

I don’t know what that guy’s problem is. Usually when I see a pocketed widow I instantly think “oh this widow is about to pop tf off”
widow does not need the boost.

arguably widow on maps like junker down does need the boost because it allows her to one shot within 60 meters compared to the usual 50@@minatsuki5906

@@4589dude then you don't pocket them and switch to the other DPS/tank but saying boosting a widow is useless isn't true after her range nerfs, at the end even a sojourn/pharah pocket can be useless if they don't pop off
I mean hit scan is literally the types of characters you are suppose to pocket as highest priority as mercy. It increases their threat and killing potential. Following a genji sounds nice until you get into diamond and above and everyone from the enemy tank to the enemy supports is looking to pick you from the sky and following a genji is a great way to get killed. With widow having fall off now the pocket also increases threat range and without widow having to back away once damaged increases the pressure her simple presence provides. While soj or ashe get more value out of the pocket widow still produces more value inherently than a pocketed genji.
Honestly, he should have swapped from genji because genji does require a lot of pocketing ngl. If the mercy was not healing him, then he should have changed to win ig
@@abhinandhari7812it’s very hard to get to the same skill level with a multitude of DPS characters though, the dude probably one tricks genji and couldn’t swap, I can’t say for sure though. He still SHOULD’VE swapped, but I don’t know if he could (because he probably sucked with every other character)
We love the pocketed widow that actually hits shots.

I love when DPS scream at me on Mercy because they suck at the character they play
as a mercy main, there’s so many times where my dps get mad at me for pocketing the other dps or rarely tank 😭 if i’m not pocketing you it’s because i don’t feel safe with your positioning or because you simply aren’t better… sometimes i would be pocketing them but then they see me damage boosting someone other than them for 10 seconds and start complaining and then i’m like ok i’ll just pocket them instead 😑 not pocketing someone who’s unnecessarily disrespectful, they’re undeserving

Funniest thing to me is always how competitive players will be genuinely upset about doing poorly. Not losing, no no no, their team will be winning and doing well overall, but because one person is doing bad, it's the rest of the teams fault they're doing bad and aren't preforming well, even though the team is winning. "I'm not the one carrying the team so we might as well lose." The ego is insane.

Here's a thought... Without a pocket is your baseline value. If you NEED a pocket to raise your value in a rank, you don't deserve to be in that rank. You should be able to play well enough on your own like this if you wanna be in higher elo, so this guy needs a reality check imo.

Widow is not a higher priority pocket then a genji 🤣 the only time you should be pocketing a widow is on sniper maps where the widow can’t one shot and that would on be on certain points

Did the Genji really expect (at 0:50) for Mercy to fly across that gap /and potentially get shot out of the air by the widowmaker down there/ to heal him? All those deaths HAD to be lack of awareness because, wow. If she had done it and died I'm sure he would blame it on her too.

Atleast he had ana as other support i had a game with tiktok moria and mercy who pocketed the soldier the whole game which is understandable but that soldier always flanked/ never played near the objective so the mercy can heal me too and to no wonder everyone blamed me
mercy was very smart for pocketing you, she knew with damage boost it would extend your range on this map, especially on this map where widowmaker dominates. she also knew to pocket those who play better, aka you

@kevinfetters7040 no where did they say the pharah is in a bad position nor bad matchups. I've seen games where we are up against sym/junrat (example) dps goes pharah and the idiot mercy wants to sit on tank or healbot everyone. The point of mercy is to pocket and dmg boost a dps.
@@lostxnxyou but.. you don't HAVE to pocket someone as Mercy to give value to the team. sometimes that's the play if a specific person is just going off, but if everyone on the team is contributing equally then it's fine to fly around from person to person, constantly changing position and keeping yourself alive rather than sticking to someone like glue.
@pronounced-like-the-drink the point of mercy is to dmg boost a dps. If you want to heal bot then just play a main healer. (Bap, moira, ana, kiri)
Mercys value is in her dmg boost which enables certain dps to become very oppressive (pharah, ashe, genji, soljourn)
While the other support heals the other two players( they should be playing a main healer) 1 main healer can easily keep two players up while the pocketed dps controls space.
Only in low elo (plat and under) that a mercy somehow gets away with heal botting.
I repeat, yes you can healbot, but then you're wasting the support slot.
There's a difference between playing for a scoreboard( gold players) and playing to win the match (good players)

I’ve seen him play against metro. Pretty sure he is located in eu idk if he sometimes plays na
he doesnt play NA that often which is why you don't see him with people like ml, kragie or jay3. If I'm not mistaken ml and kragie, but especially ml plays a lot on NA rather than EU. but yeah like the other person said he plays EU and goes against people like metro often. you don't see him play with that many streamers mainly because he plays on EU and there arent as many big streamers in EU as there is in NA. also Melio the sigma he played with on the first match is an up and coming streamer and was/is rank 1 dps player on EU I think.

That was nearly a 1-1 k/d, meaning every kill he traded. And they had a Mercy who was rezzing, so unless Kenzo' s Mercy was wasting rez on Genji, the fights were 4v5 each time. Plus, Genji probably got elims, not kills - if his shuriken hit something and then Kenzo picked them, he gets credit. That Genji was doing nothing.

@@shemfps no he really doesn't. mercy pocketing genji doesn't get more value than mercy pocketing widow. in fact, it helps more in the widow's case here since damage boost gets rid of the falloff, allowing kenzo to play from much farther away (also it's junkertown lol) and shoot at the tank more often. especially when there's an enemy widow, mercy doesn't wanna be flying out in the open with a genji.
stop coping, he never asked for a pocket, he asked for him to pay more attention to him. one healer is not (nor should they have to) keeping 4 other players + the tank alive every fight @@pronounced-like-the-drink

Why? I am not condoning it, but if a damaged boosted widow can kill more than not. And if you are as good as Kenzo or Ans, then you dont need to hit headshots in otder to kill them in 1 shot.

While a pocketed widowmaker don't get as much value as a pocketed sojourn for example, it still helps the widowmaker stay alive since she's so squishy so you can put more pressure on the enemy team since the widow don't have to go ask for heals or get a health packs. The widow can also play more aggressive
