Thank you for the video. I’ll be doing this over the weekend as I have the oil around the filler cap and sluggish performance. Fingers crossed it’s not something more serious 🤞
Done it today but only done the hoses and not the other component. Took it for a test run and it feels good, the drive system fault error had also gone some fingers crossed 🤞. I’ll keep an eye on whether any oil appears around the filler cap. Just wanted to say a massive thanks again for the video 🫡
I think you can just chuck the turbo inlet part in the trash and just change the two hoses... ask 034 Motorsport about it. Per their recommendation, I will be doing that exact thing tomorrow, although I have their aftermarket Super Duper turbo inlet pipe. I also have a larger TTE810 turbo and the extra boost into the crankcase, due to the failed PCV check valve inside the shorter of those 2 hoses, actually unscrews my oil cap and blows it right off! It can make an ever bigger mess if I don't catch it and 034 even had their car catch on fire from the hot oil!
Ah, interesting. I did an oil change last week on my S4 and thought the cap was oily and never seen it like it before. It is going for a service at Audi on Thursday so will see if they pick up on it. Oh and it is currently 57000 on a 66 plate.
Finally the oil leak around the oil cap got worse so ordered replacement and fitted it today. Easy job and approx £80 for the part from West London Audi.
I'm in the process of converting the 62 Corvette from the road draft to a PCV system so I really hope I don't have any oil leak problems. I don't expect I will but anything is possible.
That pipe connection to the elbow is incredibly hard to get off and per Audi should not be removed thus it comes with the turbo inlet connected. I replaced the PCV and hoses but I have a hybrid turbo with upgraded turbo inlet so I had to disconnect the hose from the stock turbo inlet and it was a royal pain.
Hello, I can't find the part number for the SQ5, I would check how yours looks and see if it is laid out the same as the S4 - as it is the same engine.
Tackling this project tomorrow, thanks for this!
Good luck! Hope it goes well.

Good luck, I hope it fixes it for you 😃

@@g9mtkvilla No problem at all, glad you found it useful! Good luck with it, I’m sure it’ll be ok 😃
I'll be doing this as soon as! I thought that the car was a big sluggish. How much can this issue take away from performance?
I can’t be sure, there hasn’t been any real way to quantify this. You’ll save money on oil though seeing as it won’t be spraying over the engine bay!
@JAYP CARS that's very true 😂 thanks again mate
Nice, when this pops up, I’ll know what to do. Thanks!! What is the mileage on your car?
Approximately 61k miles, at least it’s an easy job!

I've seen that the oil cap can blow off, not something you'd want to happen! Yes I saw 034's car caught fire, not good!

Similar age and mileage to mine - be interesting to see if they notice it.
@@JAYPCARS yes that’s what I was thinking.

You never know with cars how it’ll go 😂
@@JAYPCARS facts!
Does this also fix the whistling / siren sound that sometimes occurs?
Didn’t have that symptom with mine so can’t be sure
Yes it will fix the whistling noise. Might be your oil cap or oil cap gasket
was this fixed with 2020 models and above? i have a 2020 s5 and am wondering if this is an issue. 52000 km on mine so far.
This is the tsb for it. Looks like they revised it as it only shows engines up to 2019?
static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10182173-0001.pdf
Is this exactly the same part, or an updated revision?
I can’t be 100% sure, the American TSB gives this part number - but there’s nothing to say whether it’s been bettered or not. As far as I can find.
hiya,i wanna change the pcv pipes, can i ask why you changed the intake elbow aswell?
When I ordered the part it came as one so I just changed the whole thing if I remember rightly!
@@JAYPCARS cool, cheers,do you have the part number for just the pipes and valve?
I don’t I’m afraid, haven’t seen them listed separately but they probably are sold separately somewhere.

@@jimtraugermd Thanks for the info 😀
What's the part number for 18 sq5??

Hi what's the part number I have the same car thanks

This should be the part number 👍🏻
Thanks
Yeah but the clip doesn't release that easily. So explain how you released it.
