Cursive writing is a type of writing in which letters are written in joined format continuously, in an italicized running form. It is basically used for fast handwriting. But recent studies showed that in school students, typing speed was similar to cursive writing. USA has removed cursive writing from their common core standards syllabus.

I beg to differ! Cursive writing is a discipline not a writing practice. Although logically it's redundant now its sad to do away with it.

But, generally it is commendable that cursive makes the good impression on writing as students develop fast formation and coordination among letters and apart from that person having good handwriting is appreciated as well as accepted.
However, when it comes to typing it is not good as it seems, se what how we are typing on whatsapp and messangers which not only hampers the accuracy also increase dependency on digital media which is not good at all.

Cursive writing give me a feeling of happiness, satisfaction and completeness in my task. It feels like peace that I have done something good. It feels good to my eyes.
Cursive writing is an art. It's a lot faster than block and it's coming from a person who is expert in both the fonts. Whilst block is for better understanding, cursive gives a whole personality to the writer
that's the problem.It's much faster for the writer who has no consideration for the reader. All cursive writing in real life is semi legible scribbling. I'm 64 and I don't think I've ever seen a clear, thoughtful cursive letter or post card.

Back in school days teachers use to give us extra point in a test for a good cursive handwriting. 😊
And in College days ... teacher used to deduct the marks from an answer if the answer written was readable but the point was wrong

@shikhashikha796 It also helps with reading and writing issues in dyslexic students as there is evidence that it integrates hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and other brain and memory functions. Plus it is embarrassing when kids grow up having never developed their own cursive signature when they become Adult.

I've had many post cards and letters over the years where i spend have an hour trying to understand what the person wrote. As a practical matter almost everyone who writes cursive sends a mess to someone else. That is the legacy of cursive.

Ask those who don’t get to complete exams and notes because they use block letters. I use cursive and it has been only mildly difficult for me to finish exams, especially language exams, on time, whereas my block letter friends inevitably end up leaving 2-3 questions

BUT..
Consent se lekar LAMA..aur MLC se lekar DC..kaiyon ki jagah mai likhta hoon kyonki unke hindi aur English..dono writing skills poor hai.
Aur maximum Hindi mein hi likhni hoti hi ye cheez coz Police is involved.

My dear friend in 6th grade inspired me to write it in cursive and he taught me how to write it in this style and i learnt it in like 7 minutes so our math teacher loved it but she barely understood our handwritings so we had to change it to the normal handwriting styles until 7th and 8th grade our very old french teacher used to write everything in cursive and my homie and me were the only students who could understand it and everyone asked us to translate it , Well now we are currently in 12th grade and we use normal handwriting so teacher could understand it , we still write our notes in cursive but we dont that anymore also because many students needs our notes so we have to write it in normal handwriting because of them
Ig you can say we both barely use cursive and we both are the only one who knows to write in cursive and understand it in the entire school exclude my french teacher and if you are wondering if he still teaches us french no he doesnt now because he got a very serious weak memory and he forgot all of us which makes me depressed but i hope he recoveres and i had some great memories with the cursive handwriting style
