- 2022 Olympic Bronze Medalists in Ice Dance, Madison HUBBELL and Zachary DONOHUE, practice their Rhythm Dance set to a medley of Janet Jackson's 'Nasty' 'Rope Burn' and 'Rhythm Nation'. The team train at the Ice Academy of Montreal under Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon. Their Rhythm Dance was choreographed by Marie-France, Samuel Chouinard and Vincent Noiseux, with music design by Hugo Chouinard.

I could not love these 2 more, it is one thing to skate & another to also be in tune to the music they skate by ….they will definitively be excellent coaches how fortunate all those who will learn from them...I am really going to miss them on the ice

Loved this at the Olympics - I would have placed them in Silver. Their flow, edges, speed and sass. Fantastic.

On a flight from Vegas to LAX I sat down next to a girl. We had a nice conversation about ice skating as I knew there was an ice skating contest that weekend. The girl said she was part of the competition so the conversation started. I texted my friend that I sat next to a girl who was in the competition. My friend inquired a little bit about who it was. I texted "I don't know, she said her name was Maddie". Turned out to be Madison Hubbell and I looked like an idiot.
She was a very nice girl. She also definitely deserves whatever she gets in life.
Beautiful skating, and superb camera work! They look like they're really having fun (even at the end, through the exhaustion), and your smooth close-up shots really help convey that. Amazing!

After watching you at the Olympics, I really feel you should've walked away with the silver, although I would have placed you in gold position for the sheer emotions and capacity to make us forget for 5 minutes that you were actually at a competition!

No - not a drone. The photographer is a previously competitive ice skater and is skating with the skaters he is photographing.
Did Maddie cut her finger? Looked like she was tending to it at the end.
Do They have the same coaches than Vertue/Moire?
Yes, Virtue and Moir’s last coaches were also Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon

I always find it strange that other people feel the need to randomly skate around whilst the programme is being filmed. Can’t they just wait a few minutes?
Most of my videos are actually normal training, where teams share ice for 3-4 hours a day. So they know each other’s patterns and continue to practice while one team practices a full run through. If I had the funds and the skaters’ had the time I’d rent ice for them to perform a run through in costume with fancy lighting, but I’m not quite there yet!

dont understand how this is an olympic quality skating. not a single jump in a whole routine. i understand about taking path of least risk, but thats not how you win against russians...
This is ice dance...not pair skating. Two different categories in figure skating with different rules. You can google the exact differences but jumps are not allowed in ice dance. And the pair to beat in ice dance since 2015 were not the Russians but the French.
5 time world and european champions, silver at 2018 Olympics, gold at 2022 Olympics. Broken world records 34 times.
Obviously fabulously talented skaters, very energetic; beautiful people. Really disliked the choreography…
these 2 are undeniably awesome skaters but other than being in synch with each other's moves there is no sense of a couple, a relationship.. .. they appear as 2 individual skaters dancing in synch... it also looks like she uses him merely as a prop for her moves and it is all about her... the skating is awesome but it leaves me cold... no real connection between the two..
