Looking forward to the range and energy it uses vs stock. Good stuff kuya bro! I wanna get some black rims and the aftermarket ones kinda stick out. Maybe I’ll buy some 20s off OfferUp.
i read that upgrading the tire sizes affects the accuracy of the speedometer to your actual speed. have you noticed? how does it affect you? does it bother you at all?
I just took delivery of a MYP and the new ones come with hankook ion EVO tires. It’s interesting to see the tires in your video that are getting replaced as the rim lip sticks out further than the tire. With hankooks, the lip of the tire actually sticks out a slight bit beyond the lip of the rim. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing!
I wonder if the new sets for back and front will last longer than stock. I'm considering downsizing my wheels to 19 inch which gives me better performance, range and cheaper tires but it is a big cost
I just did this and love the new look. Ride quality is so much better as well. Lastly is cornering seems to be much flatter. I know it’s too late now , but someone said this could effect the power train warranty anyone hear anything like this?
Hi great video - what is the exact tires for the back and front? I can't find them on the Michelin website... MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 295/35ZR21 107Y XL BSW? Thanks!
Awesome video.. please educate me. I have 2 question. 1) Why will you get stiffness in the ride with the bigger/new tires? I thought bigger tires get comfortable drive because it has more tires? If that make sense? 2) why did you change the rear tires first dont front tires normal goes first and i thought once you change tires on a all wheel drive you need to change all four? I like the look great Thank you
If you got good tread in the back, move the rear tires to front, buy the new set for back and sell the front tires to offset cost of the new tires for the rear. Done.
My man those tires had another 25k miles on them. When the wear line starts to show, you start shopping, not buying. You don't buy until the wear line is nearly flush with the rest of the tire. If there is still even 2/32 of tire tread left, it's safe to drive.
The gap between your tires and fenders might be big, but it’s not as big as the gap in understanding tire dynamics. Tire stretching or installing wider/larger tires just for aesthetics isn’t as smart as you think-especially when compared to the engineers at Tesla (or any automaker) who spent millions designing and testing an optimized tire and wheel setup. That setup balances performance, efficiency, and safety, all while keeping critical systems like ESC working properly. For the safety of everyone on the road, the government mandates the tire placard in the door jamb. It shows the exact tire and wheel specs the vehicle was tested with, including how the ESC system operates. Deviating from that spec not only voids liability from the vehicle and tire manufacturers but also puts all the risk on you. Think twice before ignoring years of engineering for the sake of aesthetics!”
Look forward to a total review of the size changes.
I’ll update once I take a road trip.
@@TeslaoftheDayany update on the ride comfort and range?
@@TeslaoftheDaywaiting for that video bro! It definitely looks better with bigger tires.
The new tire specs fill the gaps really nicely. Meatier stance, looks great.
Looks and feels like how it should be.
Any rubbing issues in front when you turn lock to lock since you are on wider spec now?

I am curious if this will impact range as I would like to do the same thing to my Y performance!

Any update on your tires. It’s been a year 😊. Wondering if I should do the same
Any rubbing?
Looks like the all season is a different tire than the pilot sport 4. The last one does have a more vertical sidewall.

How did the tires workout so far was there any complications
Why did u choose all season tires vs. summer tires?😊
Range update?

275/35/21 fronts
295/35/21 rears
Any updates since the road trip? How did it impact your range? I'd love to go with the same setup on my MYP
but its not standard size, will the tire warranty still work?
Did this affect your speed accuracy??? Buying same size asap just need to know if it mess up your speedometer?
Thanks for the video! Have you noticed any difference on the range?

Hello, how's the ride quality differ so far with this front/back setup? Also, where did you get your black tesla emblems?
So far they feel good. I got my emblems painted at a paint shop.
Since you yot the wider tires are you still able to use your EV baserim protector?
Yes they fit fine
How was your road trip on the new larger tires? How much range did you lose? I’m thinking of upgrade soon as well. Thanks.
how did those Michelin power sport all season tire size fit and feel on the Car ?
fit and feel way better than the stock size
@@TeslaoftheDay outstanding👍
So how’s the ride with this. Is it stiff??
Did you rotate side to side or are they directional
why not put 275 on front and back then you can rotate
Rims are different also. 1 in

Did you lose any range?
How does this affect the performance? I hear it’s slower
I mean I haven't taken it to the track or timed it, but it still feels and rides like before.
@@TeslaoftheDay gotcha! What about the impact on range? Not noticeable?
Are these EV tires or just the normal Tires for gasoline cars? I am thinking getting the same size as yours on my YP!!!
Normal
Is your car lowered or on stock suspension?
Stock
Im picking mine up this Saturday! 2024 stealth grey performance! Can’t wait!
@@marioszetlak2337 sweet the new gray looks nice too.

Didn't have it aligned; silly boy

if you're blowing through tires every 20k miles you have bigger problems than just a little frot end camber
