    Thanks for the great breakdown, Chris; excellent video, as usual! I've recently been working on Thriving From a Riff for Rhythm changes. Bird's genius really was out of this world. Thank you again!

      Thanks so much Aaron! Yea, I guess I could have picked any tune to show his genius, haha. Thanks as always for the support 😁🙌

    I really like the breakdown analysis! It makes jazz language more compreensible! Thanks Chris!

    I appreciate you so much. I am 1 minute into the video, I came with a lot of frustration, but with your kind words, I now feel encouraged and ready to learn!

    Why the background music???

    • @positivelyprogressing
      @positivelyprogressing  Рік тому +2

      Why not? Music brings a certain vibe and flow. It's just part of the creative style and experience I'm trying to create for the watcher and listener. 😁🙌

      Thanks! It's actually right here on UA-cam, Chris Thile. Check out Roy Hargrove's version with Christian Mcbride too! 😁🙌

    Yes, you have to get rid of the annoying background music. We are musicians.
    This is not an elevator !!

      Haha, I haven't heard that one. I can't take the music off of this video but hope you got the valuable info that's in it. You can always mute and put in captions. 😁🙌

    Good info but the background music ruins it for me.. how could someone read music while listening to another song?

      Great feedback, yea that was a few years ago and I don’t think I’ve made that mistake again. Hope you won’t hold it against, take care! 😁🙌

    great content but that background music destroys everything…when I see the written line I imagine the sound of it and I have to hear this elevator music at the same time

      Thanks for the feedback, I'm always messing with levels and music to try and bring a different vibe/energy to my videos. I appreciate you taking the time to tell me your thoughts, I'll keep it in mind for future videos 😁🙌
