Let me advise you guys. Don’t criticize or belittle this great talent. Instead try to understand him his gift and where he’s coming from. Advise him constructively without bitterness or anger. You have an idea of the path he needs to follow in terms of growing & opportunities. The boy also has his idea ya kutoka getto. The boy took shots at different artists, you guys don’t understand why he did it. It’s a creative way to capture audiences attention for his talent. He has no problem with those artists. Those mentioned artists would not take it personally. Coz they know he’s using their name to come up. Guess what and it worked. But I wouldn’t encourage anyone to take shots at artists coz some of them don’t have a level of understanding why it’s done na wata catch. Big names are on the remix who are even more connected to the mentioned artists, hawana shida coz they know and understand it’s not personal. On another note am quite confused hearing Mwaf casting such aspersions on Octo. From one of Mwafrika's interviews he said he knew Coster Ojwang through a collaboration with Ohanga on Lamu Nights. On this same couch I watched Vicmass Luodollar, one incredible talent I discovered from a collab with Octo (Bank Otuch remix). Boutrous was also here, one amazing talent some of us got to know through (Tergat Gang) a collabo with Ohanga.
In my observation Octopizzo appreciates introducing people to less known talents. On the other end Omollo jumps on remixes to already trending songs.
