Don't always hit tower is very important, a lot of ppl think tower dmg important but your push gets shut down, so you only 300+ dmg instead of you lightning all defense troops , your push breaking through is a lot more than that
@piggy Sure, if someone places 2 cards down, go ahead and use it to take out/damage the 2 cards and get tower damage. HOWEVER. The content creator and original commenter was saying that if they have 3+ cards down (especially if it's a building or kiting unit), DO NOT try to get guaranteed tower damage.
It's like would you rather deal 420 (less if your lightning lvl is under 14) + 300 damage OR use lightning on defense and have 1000 damage to the tower.
The video is a good example, if the guy were to use lightning to get tower, musketeer, AND knight. Then the E-giant would be kited to the cannon and die without getting a single hit on tower.
If lightning hit tower, musketeer, and knight = 2,632 tower health.
Lighting hits musketeer, cannon, and knight = 1795 tower health.

Lighting is a fine spell it synergies good with e giant and another win condition that can get countered with building and it can one shot many cards plus the three strike thing can come I cluth sometimes especially with the Phoenix because it can kill the egg too

some actually useful stuff: I'm pretty sure lighting targets things based on their current HP, from highest to lowest, and it applies to towers also.
Shorts were the whole reason i started cr and the whole reason to stop playing it as well
I can say that there are cases when you need to throw lightning on only 1 target even if there are more of them, for example, if you need to knock down an inferno charge, a dragon, or kill a unit that has low health

When you want to destroy the opponets tower with lightning its rare for the opponet to predict it
On counter the tower one, people on videos with 1 hp laughing tower using lightning, so that's it almost impossible to hi the tower, if an opponent defends it from lighting

I wanna let u know that the lightning spell hits the troops with higher level so if u want to lightning a witch and a megaknight don't worry about the skeletons and also you can't miss the lightning on tower if it has troops with less HP so u can't deny a 1000hp tower with zappies cuz their Hp is lower
For the one where he placed the lightning in the corner so it didn’t hit the guards is because lightning targets the troop with the most health so in that case it would’ve went for the guards rather than the tower as the guards would have more health. Hope this helps❤❤❤

you forgot to mention it takes about 6 months or 4000 hours to max out your lightning spell level

The most important thing that I learned from playing against Skill-Giant: No matter what, NEVER let the tower end the job
For both E giant and pekka I have to remind myself that last health for any other card is somewhat durable for them (I'll only not place another card for them if the health is so low that I can't see the red)
