After 60 try i quit with Diluc. I upgraded a goof weapon, good artifacts, and after wining versus the second wave i thought it was done... But no... 2 more monsters... I quit.
I got it my second try, the strategy i recommend is to immediately run towards the right wall and burst into the first wave, then charge attack the shield until it breaks. I know charged attack on diluc is usually suboptimal but it will keep the shield mitachurl in place while the shield burns and can damage the hilichurls in the crossfire. After the shield is broken, if the mitachurl starts pumping its fist make sure to get between it and the wall so it runs right to the wall instead of across the field. Do the same for the second wave, and try to either have your burst up or still have pyro infusion from burst when you finish the round. Run immediately to the mages and triple skill them as they spawn so they don't have time to interrupt your third skill, followed by burst or pyro infused attacks to break the shields quickly.
What are your talent levels and weapon though? Cause all the ones ive seen doing this have multiple cons, fully built Dilucs but just barely made it on time. This is for the hardcore Diluc mains and i refuse to use my resin to build a character that i have no interest in. If this isn't locked as an achievement i wouldn't even be doing this
Oh man, my diluc barely hits 6-7k on hit so I've nearly perfected a choreography for the challenge where I use the burst then immediately start charged attacking the mitachurl from behind and catching the rest of them in my dance, and even that only gets me to the abyss mages with 20 sec left on a good run. One more level on the basic attack talent will hopefully do the trick. Congratulations on getting it btw!!! Now i wanna get it even more!
You could try and do a dragonstrike/plunge on the broken pillar on the right side after you've used ur burst and NA + skills on the mitachurls(be careful not to hit the shield of the 1st mitachurl) Do charge attacks(preferably after being imbued with pyro) or skills on the cryo mages until you've almost or fully destroyed their shield and then use ur burst or continue with skills and charge attack(depends if the skills is on cooldown)
Kirara's was super easy, and I didn't have to do anything but give her my Dendro Lumine's build for like 3 minutes, but then Diluc... I still can't manage it. I've done Pyro DMG, EM, and Physical, and none of those builds have gotten it.
Getting kiraras was the worst, I spent so much resin getting her to lvl 90 (which is ridiculous, why can’t it just be like level 81) and the collecting the orbs was easy because I’ve been playing her all the time and know exactly how her skill works for mobility, but then near the end where I had to fight two of the samurai, my kirara was on a full hp build so she isn’t doing any dmg, which is usually fine when I’m playing her on a team, but solo was painful Obviously it wanted me to abuse bloom because the ground was covered in water, but I thought “nah I don’t need that” so I threw my raiden’s build on her to just nuke stuff (because her burst has like 1000% multiplier), I failed so I thought “hmm, I’ll steal nahida’s build (4pc flower of paradise lost)” to buff bloom, so now the blooms are doing 11k each but the stupid samurai won’t die (I don’t know wth hoyo did with those samurai cause I literally soloed raiden with kirara before) and it took me like 2 more tries just to get my stupid flower effect I can’t even see because my graphics are so low
It was totally worth it for the best girl, I love her so much but lowkey doing abyss 9,10, and 11 with my actual teams was easier than killing two samurai with my silly cat
I feel the PAIN!!! I was stunned by how difficult it was. I was using a 4pc gladiator set (not the best), but with wolf gravestone, and thought it should be easy right?? goodness...
This is similar to my experience with this, except I still keep failing. At this point I don't think I can do much anything about his build anymore and the only thing that might make a difference would be to get constellations (easy to say, very hard to do). I am just too slow and old, I guess. It is always just a few seconds away...
Jean is easy for me. Push thieves to abyss while timing her burst to sustain HP. I failed once and learn so much with Favonius build, no Sacrificial Sword.
Wow, I didn't think I'd see people having difficulty with this Diluc challenge I passed on first try using a 1.7k ATK with EM build using Redhorn, but Jean's challenge is kinda worse i guess. Congratulations getting Diluc's Echo
for me I spent ten years trying to light the totems then cleared the combat first try. I didn’t even notice there was a timer for the combat when clearing it cause I was too busy crying over the first section

C2 diluc , talent 8-9-9. 2 Crimson, 2 gladiator, 170 ER , 60 crit rate 176 Crit dmg. I was sweating with a 4star weapon, but i did it. Now i wait for his 5star weapon to get his skin.

Use a hp sands and sacrificial sword. I got it (after a 4-5 times)
i used sac sword wit energy regen
just throw all of the enemies off, keep track of when the draining mechanics start and use your burst on time
