The Bob Barker was at fault in the collision, they were the give way vessel and could have and should have altered course and speed to avoid the collision, funny to hear them complain about the other ship trying to foul their props, that is what they do to their ships all the time.

@brent valley how do you even know if the bob barker didnt or did reduce speed or the whaler harpoon ship didn't deliberately alter its course to cause the collision intentionally

@@harrymcandrew1447 the Bob Barker was showing a green light to the attacking ship. Any mariner, worldwide understands this most basic concept of seamanship and navigation, unlike the out of control hippie gamer freaks endangering their own vessel, and the stand on vessel in this encounter. They should have instantly had their skippers licence revoked following this idiotic manoeuvre, no question.

I see one vessel riding a straight course and I see another vessel cutting in front of that course. Seems cut and dry to me

Seashepherd should use the same tactics with
Steel cables, and inmobilize the Japanese whalers. Whaling is forbidden by international law.

The IWC was created by voluntary agreement among the member nations to function as the sole governing body with authority to act under the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling which is an international environmental agreement signed in 1946. Japan is not a member of the agreement nor does the agreement have any international power. Not sure where you pulled the international law from.

OMG you mean the Japanese trailed cables and lines in front of YOUR ship (I.E. they put out a PROP FOULER JUST LIKE YOU DO?) Have you EVER seen the Sea Morons recover one of those prop foulers after they have tried to use them? NOPE, just buy more crappy mooring lines and throw them in the water!

Answer is simple, because the antarctic ocean is international waters. I don't get how simpler that can get. In norway, russia or iceland, government interference is extremely likely and they can get arrested upon entry. But in the antarctic ocean, in international waters, there are no laws, except the ban on whaling.
