I feel pretty lucky to have been there. There wasn't a second of the show that disappointed. They were just on fire. So intense and urgent. The energy and connection they made with the crowd was real and genuine. You don't see too many bands that can change up their setlist night after night with such an enormous repertoire of incredible music, and do it as near-flawlessly and with such authenticity as they do. I love that they recognize that they simply won't have the physical energy to go on tour after this, but are going out with such a powerful statement. Of course, I left wishing this wasn't the last, but totally satisfied that if anything was going to be the last, this was it. What a journey! Absolutely love these guys.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! My buddy and I were at this concert. However, we were in the upper balcony, Row V, four rows from the very last row from the ceiling. Great show, but from our seats, so far away, the bottom end of the band was muddled. it was difficult to discern distinct notes from the bass player. This vid captured what we missed hearing. From our seats, we looked down on the band. Balcony is quite steep. My buddy said he had vertigo, it was that extreme. But once the show started we forgot where we were and just enjoyed the show. At 70 years old and a 50 year career musician I am extremely happy to check off a box on my bucket list! Again, Thank you so very much for the post!

Oils!!! How lucky we've been for over 40 years. Great show, so good and no worries about missing encores. You're a champion for dedicating yourself to recording and camera work was great. Thank you!

Thanks so much for posting. They sounded great and had fantastic energy. Rob Hirst played the drums with the energy of a teenager and he is 66! Peter Garett at age 69 sounded like he did in 1980's and can still flap and flail as only he can! It is comforting to know they are ending their touring days on such as strong note. I feel blessed to have experienced it with my wife and good friend from way back. Nice tribute to the "bassist with beautiful voice". Bones Hillman's backing vocals was the only thing missing. The backup singers did a great job but Bones's soft backing vocals was such a key part of their sound post 1987 and blended perfectly with Peter Garett.

I too had the pleasure of seeing them in Oakland bringing my Neice to see one of my all time favorite bands…a very dear friend from Australia introduced me to them 30+ yrs ago…loved them ever since…their music is so important to the times now, respect their decision to call off touring, but damn I wish they would make one more tour around the world…great great show..it was an honor to be there…Cheers and ❤️ to Midnight Oil!

Good recording. Wish the audience appreciated "Only The Strong" more than they seemed to but I'm biased as 10,9,8 is my favourite midnight oil album.

Oh man. THANK YOU for this. I had tickets and covid in my family forced us not to go. Everyone's fine, but it broke my heart. This is great.

@@davidgaul572 They do change it up.
In 2017 when they played Oakland, Rob was sick so the didn't play "When General Talk." i was disappointed.
"Under The Overpass," however "conscious," was a disappointment. They should have played "Progress" instead.

I saw them at the Palladium in Hollywood on June 7th. They played three songs for the encore: Whoah, King of the Mountain, and Hercules.
