Giving solis impacts back wont change how useless she really is, her gadget doesn't detect any electronics unless you're right next to them. She was a great roamer now she's easily replaced by a mute, mozzie, bandit, or kaid.
This coming from someone who played her pre nerf, ans still played her after the first nerf.

I dont know of anyone who had an issue with the fact that she could deny plants with impacts. It was her prep phase denial and sheer gadget strength that was the issue. I have no idea why they didnt give her impacts back with this update.

1:22 As Solis main, it was skill issue. Attacker holding a phone icon is always higher above a ground. It should be a first hint. A second hint should be micro movement. Operator holding a phone is not static, they move a little when looking at the phone. You can clearly see on the video that micro movement.
The only thing is a nerf was taking away her impacts.

Giving her impacts and increasing the gadget range wouldn’t make her top tier like she was, but she’d have a niche at least.
Everyone has already said it, her problem was the ability to completely destroy the drone economy off the rip, denying a considerable part of the attackers utility with almost no counter play besides “don’t use prep phase for droning” which leaves a grand total of……zero things to do in prep phase besides reshuffle a few operators and guess where the site is based off outdoor cues and sound. Cutting the range down was fine, and removing it from the prep phase was perfect, but she had such good synergy with impacts, and the more recent change completely removed any usefulness from her gadget. What’s the point of knowing where a gadget is and not knowing what it is? Or requiring you to waste a full bar of the gadget to learn what they are, only to learn it’s something completely useless like an obvious claymore or disabled gadget, all while alerting anybody on drones that you’ve pinged them?
Not only is she not useful, she’s not really that fun either. Pretty boring secondary gadgets, decentish primary in the P90, a garbage tier shotgun, and the SMG-11. Bro got it right, she deadass only has the SMG-11 going for her

I thought Solis had been nerfed, but after playing her on the TTS, I actually think it's a buff because you can ping gadgets individually without fully using her ability.
Additionally, you can identify scanned gadgets based on sound cues, context, and game sense. You can use her ability for a longer duration without waiting for the gadgets to fully recharge, and the "overclocking" allows you to use the ability twice if you want, as it fully recharges the ability. However, according to the patch notes, attacker gadgets like drones receive information that they've been scanned, which removes her element of surprise.

If you can do that already, what is the point of her gadget, like I stg you just didnt think that statement through. Like if you can identity which gadget it is, then you already know within a meter or two where it is lmao.

For the skilled players, she's fine. u know what you're looking at, and u z ping on it without taking a charge it recharges fast, and if u use it correctly, then there is no difference in her ability there is a skill ceiling not everyone can just pick her up. That's a good thing because she's incredibly powerful. I really wish u ccs took your time and stopped trying to rush content out because u need a video out. You rush your judgment on an op because it's popular, and the rest of your competition is also talking trash about it. Having good gun skill and an operator having a good gadget are 2 different things. Her gadget is objectively shit, that's a fact even for pros. Better off using vigil for roaming and valkyrie for Intel. Obviously people who have been using solis since she came out won't be affected too much.

But since u brought it up, she has the p90 no recoil and the smg 11 the best side arm in the game. She needed a nerf and she got one she's perfectly balanced and ppl that can make her shine will
