Bro, I am a very big fan of yours. Well I want to state a comment on Ford diesel vehicles. I don't know, I observed old Everest & other Ford diesel vehicles smoke & drink engine oil after driving it for 20,000km +. I wish to know it's present technology to defend this observation of mine.
I had a really big question in my mind. Recently I have started a big personal project. From where I would earn a good amount of money In Sha Allah. I want to buy a Toyota Hilux or Coaster based camper van. Which I would like to use as my vehicle in a journey where I would travel from Bangladesh to at least 20 neighbor countries. The journey would start in late 2026 In Sha Allah. Now my question is, can caravans be imported or built in Bangladesh and can I register the Coaster as a private vehicle also, if I have international driving permit from BD Government will I be able to drive the vehicle to other countries without any hassles? Please Reply to this. It would be much appreciated.
Indeed Ford F150 is the best selling truck in the market yet Toyota Tundra is taking over very quick. More Americans are into Reliability rather than muscle power.
I don't see the point of Ford Bangladesh comparing a brand new vehicle to a competitor (Prado) that most owners get reconditioned/new but not Bangladeshi spec. (Navana/international spec gets rear AC vents for each seat and a standard diesel engine with a 150L fuel tank, rear air suspension, and center/rear differential lockers) first of all the Ford Everest and Ranger are direct competitors to the Toyota Fortuner and Hilux, also Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and L200 (Triton) respectively. the only true competitor to the Prado from Ford used to be the Explorer model, until that switched to a unibody fwd chassis in 2011, and a unibody rwd chassis since 2020. But I have to give them credit in bringing the Everest 2.0L model and pricing it aggressively as an offroader, this makes absolute financial sense when it comes to taxation. the choice of trims for us is also an added bonus Alhamdulillah. too bad we don't get the Fortuner or the Pajero Sport in their top trims (or even a diesel choice for the fortuner), Toyota and Mitsubishi have missed out on this segment big time. Loved the review, keep up the amazing work, I also enjoyed the offroad portion! sending lots of love to the team from a Toyota enthusiast (and owner) ❤️

@@bangtansforever1880 depends on what you need from your car! for 60 lac there's quite a bit of options, a used Prado or Pajero makes sense if you're into big SUVs and not bothered with running costs! if long term running cost is a factor then you can get a recon Honda CRV or Nissan X-trail! lastly if you want a brand new seven seater suv then I could suggest the Hyundai Creta Grand, it's the only diesel option in its segment and based on how many I have been seeing lately, it has gained quite a bit of popularity, also its proudly manufactured in Bangladesh! At the end of the day these are mere opinions of mine, I would highly recommend writing down what you want/expect from your vehicle, as there are chances a vehicle that doesn't make sense to me will make total sense to you. Where the Prado wins in Bangladesh is parts and service. Any mudir dokan or tire shop garage in Dhaka or outside of Dhaka can service a Prado and will have all parts. The Ford you have to take to one or two garages in Dhaka and thats it. If it breaks down outside of Dhaka, you will have to tow it back.
But any mudir dokan would rarely have authentic parts. Authentic parts costs mostly the same as american/european cars and aren’t always available. But yes, thekar kaj chalanor jonno Toyota is Toyota in BD.
@@nasidctg you also have to also tolarate whatever bullshit pricing and attitude that one or two garages in Dhaka will give you (quite common in Bangladesh). With the Prado, you can change workshops anyday and no issues. Anyone decent garage will do. Not to mention if you live outside of Dhaka, you have to come and live in Dhaka or be carless for half a week just for an oil change.
Good review, but as a Ford user since childhood (owned a mustang, Explorer, and my dad owned 2 Expeditions), this is a car to avoid because it has transmission problems that failquickly. One of my friends also had to replace his transmission over 200k miles for the second time in his 2017 model. All of Ford's vehicles have gear and transmission problems, except the trucks, mustangs, and expedition.
