I love quad to death and idmthy might be my favorite album of all time. If not my second favorite, but the comparison is so lazy. It's literally just string arrangement & chorus vocals = quadeca. Quad was not the first to do that and it's not a new idea at all. Not saying that you're saying he's ripping him off but I saw people on twitter saying that and I found it funny
@@augustscollapse bruduh it's not just the song look at the video and watch the idmthy movie n he completely ripped it off, the blonde/white hair, the outfits, the settings he filmed in. its an obvious ripoff. as for the actual song being played, it's more of a fmty sound than idmthy. and on top of all this he claimed he didn't know who quadeca was despite the obvious inspiration at first which then proceeded to turn into a complete ripoff at this point.
also a weird thing to say, idmthy is more grainy and grim. glaive's hair has been like that for months. Also if you read anything past quads initial tweet that he deleted about glaive you would see that he posted him and glaives dms where they state they're cool with each other. glaive is just a troll on top of that and says things like that all the time. he said the same thing about not knowing brakence despite having touché produced by him. He could definitely be inspired cause he's heard idmthy, but completely original music doesn't exist, everyone's a combination of music they've heard and listened to, atleast to some extent, but saying it's a ripoff is hilarious. also the rest of the song sounds absolutely nothing like quad at all in the slightest. people pulling all this from a 30 second snippet is hilarious. Quadeca was not the first person to make an artistically driven music video I promise 🙏
@@augustscollapse i never said they weren't cool or anything like that i'm just saying everything about the clip and song isn't original. and glaive's hair being like that for months doesn't save him because quads hair was like that 2 years ago so ur point made no sense he still could have very well copied him💀 and the clip of the instrumental that we do hear is very heavily inspired sisyphus by quad which is why i brought up fmty. and this clip was filmed in iceland. not js anywhere in iceland but very obviously near the same region quad filmed the idmthy movie. look at glaive's surroundings and the grass. quad may have not invented this but its obvious quad is the whole vibe glaive was going for. and doing that as a signed artist who goes on tours with people like the kid laroi is embarrassing.
glaive has been traveling to different countries and areas these last few projects this is nothing new. Quad also filmed in Alaska for the idmthy movie. which is where glaive did his last project. I guess glaives been copying him since then too? You see how weird that sounds? and to be honest the fact that you went back to him having white hair and think that in anyway he might be copying him off of that is absolutely hilarious and makes you sound ridiculous
