I would certainly agree with that, but only if the songs NO MORE TEARS, ANGEL OF SALVATION, I BELIEVE, IN WATER'S GAZE, DESTINY, STRUGGLE FOR THE FREEDOM FLAG, NEVER AGAIN, and many of these didn't exist.
🎯 He is the BEST. He has perfect pitch, clarity, breath control, clear pronunciation, outstanding stamina and hitting EVERY note during live performances and a balanced vibrato that does not overpower the music. 🎯
Yeah in a technical way, he is amazing. Only thing i can say it's not good for him is his tension (face) when he sings some of the higher Notes at times and the Wide vowel when he is supposed to just push the note (that it Sounds nasal, at his age now)

Also singing this much high note songs at this age is not suitable for his voice. I Don't know anything about him smoking or how much he did
One of my Favorite singer if not my most Favorite. Btw i recently found songs that SHO sang that i never heard of Before. Two songs like "calling" and "still remember". Really good songs, specially "calling" and they were in 2008
@SpotlightSingers gotta search for those underground songs lol. But i find where it is. It is from norifumi shima's solo album (lead guitarist and composer of concerto moon) which i assume probably he invited SHO for a 2 songs to sing. Great that he also knew like SYU about his talent at that time

His vocals have been pretty consistent throughout his career, but for me, his absolute peak was 94~95.

2014 and especially 2019 were the inflection points
His voice started to change slowly to a deeper voice since then. The reason? Age

I discovered them yesterday, never heard them before :0 Still Remember has some good Low Notes too.
