When I create cards for my grands I also make them an ATC with parts from that particular card for them to collect. The six year old brings her cards to school for show and tell. Those I love to give away!

For years I have kept about 99% of the cards, ATC's, inchies, twinchies, ATC coins.... that I've made. They make my heart happy. But last year I traveled 3000 miles thru OH, KY, TN, MS, AR, OK, TX, and MO and decided to take a collection of my goodies to share and people were interested in them and so some of them were given away. I found that I enjoyed gifting my treasures in person to people I knew loved them as much as I do, so that made parting with them so much easier. I went to 2 UA-cam meetups, and to about 10 UA-camrs homes to visit with them. We had sooooooooo much fun!
Love them all, but the turtle is my favorite as I have to remind myself to be strong and turtles are just plain wonderful. Continued prayers for you and Bob and family ☺♥🙏
My favorite is the doggie one🥰 and you ARE super woman! Bob needs to rest and heal properly! But I totally get where hes coming from because I had 2 surgeries in the same year and it was torture!

I love your ATCs. "Fran on the Edge" calls them AKCs - Artist Keeping Cards!!! Hahaha! I've been making things since I was 12. That's when my Grandma taught me to embroider & crochet. And I always make things specifically for someone else as a gift. So I dont have many things I kept for myself!!! I kept 1 crochet aphgan and 1 wooden box I did with enameled copper mosaic & resin on top. The box I still have and use to keep my old jewelry for crafting in. I love it! I made it in high school. I'm more motivated when I'm making for somebody else. But I wish I'd kept more things for myself. I usually did a new "craft" and then gave it away. I've done wood carving, punched rugs, metal casting, batik. About every kind of craft/art!!! All kinds of crafty things. That's why I like junk journals so much. Cuz I can put all my different crafty-artsy projects in them. I LOVE your ATCs with the little people atop a sandwich or burger!!! Its SO DARN CUTE!!! I need to try THAT!!! Have you ever seen a "Somerset Studio" magzine??? They are full of artists' projects. They are rather expensive new. Like $15+ each. But I've found them used for $4-5. And every single page is great for collage or backgrounds!!! And they have every kind of artist in them. Painting, pottery, mixed media. Check them out. I think you would LOVE THEM!!! I have never had a Somerset Studio magazine, it's too spendy and I get most of my magazines from friends and family for free. I will keep my eyes peeled for it. I know of the magazine. My husband and I were at the store the other day, while waiting in line this woman walked by us to put a magazine back. She said "It's been a long time since I've purchased a magazine, when did they become $15!!! NO thank you!" hahahahaa! I couldn't agree more!
Im loving this so far but my question is this... you are the 2nd person I have seen in videos use a metal ruler "upside down"... can you help me understand the allure to this? since the cork side would help hold the ruler from sliding on the paper... ? thanks!
