    Amikor a trónon ülök; Az én nemzetem, amely szétszóródott, gyalogosan és meztelenül tért vissza.
    Hogy nemzetem neve el ne vesszen; Hogy a törvény ne tűnjön el!
    Nem pihentem nappal és nem aludtam éjjel!
    Hiába szöktek könnyek a szemembe, megakadályoztam, hiába üvöltöttem a szívemben, megakadályoztam és gondolkodtam.
    12 nagy expedíciót tettem északon, délen és keleten, hogy fejlődhessem és táplálhassam nemzetemet, nem féltem és harcoltam.
    Uralkodtam a Szent Ötüken.
    Megetettem az éhezőket és felöltöztettem a mezteleneket. Gazdaggá tettem a szegényeket.
    Csak szaporítottam nemzetemet. Nincs több gonosz!
    ...És amíg a török kán a szent Ötüken-erdőben él, addig nem lesz baj az országban, él a törvény..
    török nemzet!
    Hacsak nem pusztul el az ég, és nem hasad szét a föld, ki pusztíthatja el országodat és törvényedet?

    As someone of South Chinese descent I admire the Turks and Magyars. I see them as freemen of the Eurasian steppe who not only excelled in archery and horsemanship, but most importantly excelled in commerce as well. A lot of people believe that Chinese merchants were the ones doing the trade on the Silk Road, but that's not true the ancient Sinitic people of North China were mostly closed off from the outside world, and much of the trade along the Silk Road was done by intermediary peoples like the Turks or the Sogdians.

    • @weifan9533
      @weifan9533 5 місяців тому +1

      And a lot of people are unaware about this, but South Chinese were once freemen as well. We weren't the freemen of the steppe, but we were freemen of the sea. Once upon a time we were part of the Austro-Tai family sharing a close relationship with the Austronesians, and our people once dominated the southern seas.

    • @weifan9533
      @weifan9533 5 місяців тому

      Then about 2,000 years ago the Sinitic people from North China defeated and subjugated us due to the fact that their armies were more numerous and better organized. Our Austro-Tai ancestors fought back valiantly and caused them massive losses, but in the end they were defeated. And from then on our nightmare began.

    • @weifan9533
      @weifan9533 5 місяців тому

      The Sinitic people tried hard to assimilate us and forced us to adopt their customs and language, but our free-spirited ancestors refused to capitulate. They rose up against the Sinitic oppressors, and numerous rebellions had spread like wildfire all across South China. A few of these rebellions were successful such as the Khu Lien rebellion in 192 AD which established the independent Lam Ap kingdom, but most of these rebellions ended in failure.

    • @weifan9533
      @weifan9533 5 місяців тому

      However, during all these rebellions, our ancestors created new armor styles and new ways of warfare. Instead of confronting the massive Sinitic armies directly, they resorted to ambushes and guerilla tactics. And their poisoned crossbows, blowguns, and javelins were feared by the Sinitic soldiers. They developed paper and rattan armors made up of layered barkcloth or folded mulberry papers covered with rattan scales on top, which were not only light and flexible but offered excellent protection against projectiles. It would be interesting to see a group of Austro-Tai seafarers and a group of Turkic cavalry working together to defeat the Sinitic army, that would be a soothing sight to behold.

      And genetically South Chinese/SE Asians and Turks are distant cousins. Turks have Y-haplogroup C2a-L1373, and we South Chinese/SE Asians have C1b-B65, C1b-B68, and C2b2-CTS4660. Some Turks in Central Asia have D1a1b-P99, and we South Chinese/SE Asians have our own D lineages such as D1a1a2-F1070 and D1b-L1378. Some Turks belong to Central Asian/West Asian lineages like J1 and J2, and we South Chinese/SE Asians have some rare subclades of Y-haplogroup F like F2-M427 or F-MF77117, which are distantly related to GHIJK.
