  • Over 80 hours of restoration work went into this classic Gottlieb from 1971.
The add-a-ball version was called Astro and had the same layout but different artwork. New coin door and coin door hardware, new legs and leg hard ware, upgreaded flipper buttong to more fingernail friendly versions as well as all metal including the side rails buffed to a mirror shine. New slicone white rubber all around, rebult pop bumper and flipper assemblies and installed orange dot flipper coils for the extra 10% punch this game needs to get that ball back to the top of the playfield. All original cabinet artwork with original patina still intact. Gorgeous original backglass you just don't find with this title. All around the best playing and you would ever hope to find and play is what we acomplished here with this beauty!

Absolutely one of the nicest Gottlieb 4 Squares I’ve ever seen. I had a very good condition one in my collection a few years back, but nowhere as nice as yours. The game play on this wedge head is outstanding and will keep the player coming back for more. My favorite part of the game is when the player completes the sequence and lit the Specials for replays. It for sure was one of my favorite playing games beck in the day when I played it on route at the candy store 50ft from my home. Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Thankyou! This one was nice to begin with which is pretty rare to find. Brought it to the next level to make it what it is here. =)

Thanks Dave! JUst delivered the 4-Square to it's new owner. I really spent some time on this one giving it the little extras like all new coin door hardware ans buffing the metal side rials to a mirror shine. I'll miss her but so many others will take her place. =)

All #44 Incandescant except for the backglass which got warm white Comet LEDs except for the flashes in the backbox as they got #455 incadescant flashers. I like the incadescant look with the older games. Key is good sockets and clean inserts so the light can shine through nicely. Some LED fans would just put a super bright LED in there to blast throught the dirt. 😂

Also, I appreciate your skills as a player and whoever is doing the camera work. So often the camera is focused on the reels spinning or some girls breasts or a close-up of someplace on the board and you miss all the action. This is a great game I used to play it as a kid. When I was 12 years old, I knew gottlieb were the games to play.

Thankyou! That would be my wife Maureen. She is my camera woman. =) Really fun early 70's Gottlieb made even better when you upgrade the flipper buttons to the later 70's style so you don't tear off your fingernails while playing. =)

I used to tell the girls in college not to let the little two inchers fool them as well.
