I love this deck, the card size, card stock, but especially the art. He's moved towards the realm of Bosch with this one, away from his moon-faced creatures (which I like as well). I have no clue how to read with it, but am so happy to have it just to flip through the art. Thanks for your take on how to read with it.
Thank you for sharing your way of approaching this deck. Especially the idea of researching what a name means really is helpful to me. Even though it is such an easy and obvious thing to do I never thought about doing that. So this might actually change the way I look at decks that just have names or fantasy titles on the cards.
I like the art, I just wish tarot and oracle creators didn't reach for conjoined twins so often as a stand in for spooky, spooky decks seem to be a place where stereotypes of visible or developmental disability, scars and disfigurement are seen as fair game.
