I know! It’s just the feeling that this may be the happiest years of your life… and they’re just… there’s this feeling of incompletion, that you should cherish these days because you’ll regret it later, but it’s hard to when the whole world seems to be falling apart around you.

You’re the only one who can change it : go to a cafe, meet new people, compliment that person, ask someone for directions instead of using maps, we humans thrive off interactions. I know how it may seem out of reach but the only limits yu have are the ones your minds sets (and moral/the law, but you get what i mean). Get out of your comfort zone, grow, enjoy, even if you don’t want/can’t meet other people, make sure your enjoying yourself and making sure your mind is a place you enjoy, you’re the only person who’s going to be there 100% of your life. Other people can’t dictate how you’re supposed to live, to each their own timeline (the are exceptions, like parents and stuff, but don’t believe your supposed to live a certain way, you do you! For instance, I don’t drink alcoh0l and most young people do, so what. People have different interests, you gotta find people who have similar ones ^^

i'm currently young but have very few friends and have to work around 25-30 hours per week at a fast food job on top of trying to keep a 4.0 gpa in school. me and my parents don't get along so I'm trying to save for a down payment on a house and can't just not go to work. People say that these are the best years if their life, but for me they have been some of the worst, im just hoping things will get better soon.

Listening to this song will forever remind me about how I used to listen to this song and anticipate every word while riding my bike to school, I was severely depressed and I went to a highschool none of my childhood friends went, there was no bus to the school from the neighborhood my mom lived in. Most days I would bike 4 miles to school before the sunrise. In the winter, the sleet would slow me down; I would be out there for an hour or so and I would time my pedaling to the beats of the songs that I listened to. I loved this song especially, it made me feel like the writer knew exactly what I went through, I felt like I had no control in my own life.
I love how these submitted clips were happier rather than sad! Keeping hope for much better times in 2021, everyone! This is awesome 👏💕💕
